NBR: I actually cried this morning!

When I went to sleep last night, I knew Obama was president, but it did not hit me until I woke up this morning and saw his picture on the television.  Although this election was not about race, it is a huge accomplishment for black people and no matter what political party they are involved in,  I believe in my heart that every black person felt as if "we did it".  I wish my dad was here to see this because this is truly an historical moment!  America finally got it right.  OMG!!!!!!!!

    When DS woke up for his 3am feeding I was excited for once.  I went to bed thinking that Obama would win and I couldn't wait to boot up the computer and see that it actually happened.

    although i voted for mccain, i do agree with your comment that this is a huge accomplishment for black people!
