and before we start with the "I don't care, I just want a healthy baby" comments, let's just put it out there that we ALL want healthy babies. Wishing for one sex over the other doesn't mean you'll love the baby any less or wish it wasn't healthy if it's the opposite sex.
I'll be happy with either one. This is our first child.
However I secretly want a girl more just to see how DH is with her. I was a total daddy's girl growing up and he was my hero and I loved hanging out with him. The thought of my daughter having that relationship with DH is heart melting.
BUT
a boy would be fun too because my hubs and I are huge sports fans and I'm a total tomboy so we'd get to do more "boy stuff".

I have 2 girls, so it would be nice to have a girl, because we have all the stuff. But it would be nice to have a boy, because I think DH would really like one... either way, I am fine.

I'm a leaning more towards wanting a boy, but not by that much. I was the oldest child in my family, so I think it would be cool if there was an older brother.

Originally I was all for a girl but now I'm at about 51% to 49% wanting girl vs. boy. I got excited because I saw a ton of cute boy clothes and I like my boy nursery ideas better. we will see!
I'm hoping for a girl. So many of my friends have had boys this year, that I would love to shop for a little girl! This is our first, and I will be happy either way!

At first, I didn't care because I have a boy and two girls. But the more I think about it, the more I would love to have another boy so my son can experience having a brother as well as sisters. Every night he prays that God will give him a baby brother "because Kylee already has a baby sister." It's so cute and sweet.

Too indecisive....I am a tomboy, so a boy would be fun to teach how to play sports and stuff like that. (obviously, I can do that with a girl too, but I love baseball and football and would be shocked if my daughter played!! Or watched weekly) I would love a girl because she can be my mini! I can teach her soccer and do girlie things together.
My husbands family is dying for a boy, as we have 6 girls and 0 boys. One other family member, who has 2 girls already, MAY have another, but not sure. I think my hubby kinda wants a boy, but would have a daddy's girl in a second!!
My family hasn't said anything either way. We are 1-0 girls. My brother just had one in March.
Back at square one. No clue....we will find out in December!!!

No secret about it, hands down I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a girl!
I was the only girl growing up with brothers, I have 4 sons, this child will be the 10th grandchild for my parents and ALL of them are boys with the exception of my sweet neice who is grandchild #9. So, I would love a little girl, that being said, it's probably a boy which is fine also. We're team green and the fact that we're not finding out the sex until birth is driving my family INSANE!
My parents already have a grandson so it would be nice to have the first granddaughter. But I would be happy with a boy, too. My nephew is the sweetest thing
This exactly. Plus little girl clothes are so cute!
I was really stuck on having a boy first, but I find that I honestly don't care as much anymore now that I am actually pregnant. I would be surprised if it's a girl though because everyone is convinced we are having a boy first.

I'm wanting a girl because my older sister has 3 boys; having the first girl will definitely move me back into favorite child status My husband wants a boy though - he's the oldest of 6 kids and thinks everyone needs a big brother! He swears up and down it's a girl though, which I'm inclined to believe as he knew I was pregnant pretty much as soon as we conceived--go figure!
Ultimately I want one of each. If I could be guaranteed a girl later, I would want a boy first like PP stated. That said if I have a boy first I would be worry that I would not have a girl. MH and I came to the agreement of we get three tries to get what we want-he wants a boy, and I want a girl. Either way I know I will be happy.
Girl, we have all the clothes (everything else is gender neutral) and I would love for DD to have a sister. DH wants a boy really badly so he can have a little boy to play hockey with.
I can't seem to decide which one I'd prefer. I'd like a girl so I could buy the sweet girl clothes, and have someone to do girly things with. Also, I wouldn't be outnumbered! But I think it would be great in DS had a brother, and we already have a ton of boy stuff. So I would be happy with either...it just depends when you ask which I'd prefer.
ETA: There are no girls on my husbands side of the family so that could be fun too. DS is the only boy on my side of the family.
GIRL GIRL GIRL GIRL GIRL times 100. I have 3 boys already so me and dh would love our last one to be a girl. It will most likely be a boy though. On dh's side, our baby will be the 14th grandchild 12 are boys 2 are girls. He is one of 6 kids. His oldest brother and sister are twins and they each have one girl and one boy(his daughter is 9 and son is 5, his sister had twins a boy and a girl). On my side there are 8 including my baby and all but 2 are boys. We find out in 14 days, pink or blue!!!!
For the longest time I wanted and boy and DH especially wants a boy. But, now that I'm KU, I can't stop looking at all the cute girl clothes! Go figure...
(I think I'm still leaning more toward a boy though)

All the women in my generation of my family have had boys so far, and everyone is totally enraptured with the idea of me having a girl, using feminine pronouns to describe my uterus, etc., etc. So of course I'll probably have a boy. The Chinese gender chart thing appears to agree, hehe.

Secretly hoping for a boy. I know that deep down DH would love love love a boy. We are also the last chance for our last name to live on, so DH is feeling the pressure.
I would adore a daughter and love her to bits, but I have always imagined myself as a mom to boys.
I really want a girl so I can buy all the cute stuff. I also love the name we have for a girl. I really wouldn't mind if little man had a little brother to play with though so either way I'm happy.
First time round I leaned towards wanting a boy for the older brother reason. I had heaps of trouble finding girl names I liked but found it easy to choose boy names. We had a boy.
This time, originally I didn't care. Easy to have another boy and the idea of a girl scares me slightly. Then I started thinking about all the super cute stuff I can sew for a baby girl and all the amazing girl fabrics out there. I'm also finding a lot of girl names I like... so I kind of want a girl now.
I'm the oldest, followed by 2 boys (as is my mom and paternal grandmother.) My family says I was totally a mini mommy to my brothers, and I would want that for our family!
I go back and forth. It's our first so it doesn't matter one bit. My husband proclaims he wants a girl...but we all know he'll want a boy eventually! A boy would be fun...especially in the long run. But I FEEL like it's a girl so my heart is being set on a girl.
I think a girl would be so much more fun to buy for. I get a bit depressed looking at boy baby stuff...it's all so sissy like! If this baby is a boy I'm going to work REALLY hard not dressing him in puppy dogs and ducks! lol.
I know the point of the question was to tell the truth. But I can't decide! It's just so exciting either way!

Girl! I have such a soft spot for little girls in their cute dresses. We also have tons of boys on both sides of our families and if I had a girl it would the first on DH's side.
Having said this, I feel like it's going to be a boy! The lower heartrate, lack of m/s and just a gut feeling....

I have forever wanted a boy first and would love love love a boy. I adore little boy clothes and really would love to carry on my husbands name with a boy.
Im thinking this baby is a girl though, I had a dream about my "baby girl" and I keep finding myself saying "she". This might just be me mentally preparing myself to hear those words " its a girl " in the next few months to follow though.
I was the oldest child in my family, so I think it would be cool if there was an older brother.
I think this is mostly where my desire for a boy comes in. Growing up I always thought it would have been cool to have an older brother.
I kinda thought this too but I already have a girl so I really want a boy this time; besides, DH and his younger brother are the last 2 Moore's in his family so we have to have a boy to carry the name...

If it is a given that the baby is healthy and all that...I still don't care what I get. I LOVE my son to pieces and would love to give him a brother. I fantasize about the two boys growing up together being best buds. I think about "the boys" coming home for Christmas and stuff like that (oh God I am tunring into my mother).
On the flip side, I would love to see what it is like to have a girl. Buy girly things and play dress-up and baby dolls. But I don't have my heart set on ever having a girl. I would be ok if I never did.
So, either way, I will be happy with what I get and will be sad that I am not having the opposite sex. This is our last child unless some miracle surprise pregnancy happens, so whatever it is, it is!
BTW- I wanted a boy the first time around slightly more than I wanted a girl. So I did have an opinion before- just not anymore.

I keep going back and forth (so perhaps that means that I don't really have a preference). I used to always think that I would like a girl. Then I thought that I boy would be fun. Now I am back to thinking I want a girl. So I really have no idea what I would prefer!
