Also I think that staged pregnancy photos look ridiculous. "Oh let me make a heart with my hands around my protruding belly button"...gag me. I do however love the "unstaged" ones. I secretly hope that when I'm like 30 some weeks I've got personal paparazzi following me around reading to catch me looking awesome at at moments notice.
I think they make the baby look like Skelator.

This, except that I like watching the auditions where people embarrass themselves. After that I don't like it.
I hate people who walk around whistling. No one likes a whistler.
And also agree about Oprah, American Idol, and 3D ultrasounds (creepy looking).
I've completely lost all respect for Steven Tyler since he's now on American Idol
I think "4D" ultrasounds are complete crock anyway, the 4th dimension is time? Really? I'm reasonably certain that the 2D ultrasounds are also done in real time.
And finally I read an article the other day that stated that many women would rather be dead than fat. That makes me want to go kick their a$$es. If you would really rather be dead than fat then you obviously have your priorities REALLY screwed up and you don't value the great gift that life is and you're just flat out a b*tch.

I can't stand American idol, dancing with the d-list stars, and 3&4D ultrasounds either.
I am mad the local tv station broke in for the entire last Oprah show with tornado and storm warnings. Completely unreasonable, I know, but dang it it was the last Oprah!! I guess they are going to replay it today, so I'll have to DVR it again.

I saw a 3D of my baby at 11 weeks during the first trimester screening and I was totally unprepared for it. It was definitely scary. Luckily the tech switched it back to the normal 2D quickly and comforted me by saying all babies look like that at 11 weeks. I wanted to say, then why did you show me?!
I hate American Idol outside of the original auditions. I don't particularly like television in general especially now that so much of it is reality television because why pay actual talented people when you get real life crazies for free.
I do like the enormous flowers on bald infants. I think they are hysterical, and if I have a girl, I plan to have many enormous flowers to put on her.
I don't think eating runny eggs is a big deal. I had poached eggs with hollandaise twice this past weekend and they were absolutely delicious. I wish I was eating them right now.

I prefer to use proper english when speaking to people I don't know. Especially at work when talking to our elder patients. Saying yeah, naw, totally and statements like "just give me a holler" I feel are extreamly unprofessional. Especially for the nurse that says them who is in her late 50's. You're not 17 and our patients are not your friends. You payed all that money for you RN license, maybe you should act appropiatly.
S/N-I would like to apologize for my spelling today, I can barley keep my eyes open much less type properly.
I know it is a message board where we post in our down time, but I cannot stand when people don't even make an effort to proofread their posts. Or better yet spell check it when it is a super long post.
I cringe and wonder who is going to teach the baby how to spell lol.

Definitely agree with this!! I had a secretary that would listen to rap music at her desk. Doctors facing multi-million dollar lawsuits don't want an attorney who listens to rap music. Sorry, but save it for your car!

These don't bother me nearly as much as the real baby fetus pictures in some tickers. No offense to those who use them, but I always wonder where do they get these pictures? Are they aborted/dead babies? Sorry for the morbid thoughts, but that's why I don't like looking at those tickers.

They weird me out too. I'm pretty sure they're not real pictures though, even though they look very realistic. Even the ones that don't look so real are freaky during the early stages of development.

I don't feel that my social life will be over after my child comes. It won't be a crazy every weekend party like it used to be, but I feel I'm still entitled to have a night out with or without DH every now and then...
This being said, and I have a feeling this might sound hypocritical, I have a "friend" on FB ( a girl I who was my BFF in HS, but we grew up and grew apart) who has a 15 month DS. She is a photo taker, she always has been. So I like to lurk her pictures alot. From the pictures she posts, it seems like she is NEVER home with her child. She just got back from Punta Cana, she always going to sporting events, always going out to the bar/dance club, now that summers here I'm sure the boat pictures will start. I'm pretty sure her parents take care of her DS so she can have this kind of life, but how is that fair to her little guy?
I guess I just envision myself being a homebody more once my LO comes....
Apparently this is an unpopular opinion: I LIKE the 3D/4D ultrasounds pics AND the baby development pics! They don't weird me out at all.
I hate American Idol (especially the auditions), Dancing with the "Stars", Survivor, The Bachelor, and pretty much every other "reality" tv show except Biggest Loser and So You Think You Can Dance.
I think daycare can be good for your LO.
Aw. I bought this onesie in case I have a girl (if I don't we'll send it to DH's cousin who is for sure having a girl) but it says Rock Princess on it and it has a cheetah print tutu on it...I thought it was cute.

Yeah, I agree w/HDBD. Along with the I am not gaining any weight threads. I am sure the women out there who have the pressure not to gain a lot of weight would feel bad seeing that. But, we all are feeling insecure about our bodies (now more than ever) regardless of how much weight we have gained. I think so much of it is out of our control.
I have a background in dance, but I also really like the tutus or petticoats because they are silly and over the top. I think photos of little baby girls in petticoats are so freaking ridiculous. That's why I love them. Then again, my best friend's pregnant with a little boy and I bought him a fedora, bowling shirt, and madras shorts off Zulily today because it's elderly FL gentleman chic which will be hilarious on a baby boy.

Perhaps I should amend my post to just say that I'm not a fan of putting babies in silly, over the top outfits.
Halloween would be the exception.
