How many grandchildren are in your family? This will be my parent's first and dh's parent's fourth.

My parents' first & DH's parents' 2nd. Unfortunately the mother of the 1st isn't really in touch with the fam and lives 3000 miles away (although secretly I still talk to her - she is a sweetheart and was completely wronged by my idiot BIL) so MIL will be pretty excited to have access to a grandchild

This will be my parents 1st and my IL's 2nd. My niece (SIL's kid) is 5 yrs old so my IL's are excited. My parents are thrilled, my Mom and (suprisingly) brother have been bugging us for a while. My Dad is a nerd and he is excited in his own way...example, I got a text that he wants his grandbabies to him Max. ?!?!? Max?! His name is Marshall! I have no idea where that came from. haha

It'll be the first on both sides. I can't wait to tell them! I honestly don't know how they're going to react. Even though we're 30 and 32, our parents are kind of young (in their early 50's), and I'm not sure how they're going to feel to be called grandma and grandpa. They'll be happy; I just don't know if they'll like feeling so old.

This is my parents' first and they are over the moon! They've been waiting for this for a long tim (I am 31 and my brother is 36 and has been married for 4 years). My in-laws have 2 already so this will be their 3rd.

This will be # 9 for my ILs, # 5 for my mother and # 2 for my dad. My dad has a soon to be seven year old, so my kids are his only grandchildren. There is a 30 year age difference between me and my sister!!

My MIL has 1 grandson (he's 16). Her BF has like a dozen grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. My mom has 2 grandkids (from my half-brother). My SIL is due in July, so that will be the first for my parents together.

1st on both sides!!! We told my parents already and they were soooo happy and excited. DH's family is going to be ecstatic too since they were always the ones saying....so when are you going to have babies!!! I am planning to tell them about our struggles getting pregnant though so maybe they'll think twice next time they go on to someone about having kids.

This will be my parents 3rd grandchild, and my IL's first, although they have been very good to my two children from a previous relationship, and DS and DD refer to them as Nana and Papa. Both sets of parents are THRILLED!

This is my parents 6th grandchild. DS was the 6th. My mom treats every pregnancy/ child liket he first -- gotta love her!

This is my mom's 6th, Dad's 1st real one (my two half sisters have children), and 1st for the ILs....we are super excited to tell his parents...they are going to be super shocked! My mom knew we were TTC but his parents didn't know and we will tell them after our first appointment in 2 weeks!

The first on DH's side.

The 5th on my side (one passed away, so it will actually be the 4th current grandchild). However, all of the grandkids in my family are girls, so maybe we'll have the first boy!
