    Oh, no!  I am so sorry!  It is so scary, but things will get better!  When I was laid off, I about had a heart attack (I was single at the time). It turned out to be a blessing in disguise when I found a much better job somewhere else.  I hope your DH finds an even better job soon!

    Maybe it's a good thing- no one will "frown" upon your family for collecting unemployment for a while, have DH go back for "re-tooling" (second career student- there are lots of options for financial aid out there), and filing for bankruptcy- it's not as taboo as it once was and it's easier on your credit than not paying your bills- and h3ll- it's a result of husband losing his job (not because you are "lazy" and don't pay your bills). Don't fret- so many people out there are in the same boat- just as long as you have enough to pay rent/mortgage and be able to buy food (but maybe you could get help with that for a while)- you'll be fine.
