Newbie question, i'm getting dumber by the day...

6 wks of bcps has me fried!!!

I can get a massage while i'm stimming?  Right?  I start on weds, and my friend wants to do a little spa day fri.  I figured fine, i will still be pretty comfortable at that point.

I need some reassurance ladies :)

    I think that should be fine. I was told by a massage therapist not to get one in the 2ww or 1st trimester and that was it.

    I think the concern is for massages during the 2ww.  I don't think it's an issue before ET.

    I did one right before my FET to help relax me...I'd think during stims would be OK too - as long as you aren't uncomfortable from the meds.

    A spa day sounds like heaven right now.....

    My RE says as long as you aren't too sore and maybe ask them not to focus too much on your lower back/stomach. Enjoy!

    Mine said up to day 5 of stims was fine.  I never questioned why only to day 5.

    Beta 7/18/11 - 149!!! Beta 7/21/11 - 311 Beta 7/28/11 - 2,000 8/5/11 - Empty Sac 8/8/11 - There's a yolk sac and maybe a heartbeat 8/12/11 - Fetal pole, yolk sac, heartbeat 8/18/11 - Baby looks GREAT!

    Yes, you can definitely get them while stimming!  I think I may schedule one for me this time around!  Have fun!

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    I'm so jealous!

     I'm not sure what our RE recommended, but i didn't want to risk letting the toxins into my body right before a cycle. So i passed.

    But again, that's just me! And I can be slightly neurotic :)

    Yes, enjoy!!!!! I got a couple the week of my ER. Just hydrate really well and you should be fine. I'm so excited your stims finally start!!!!!

    I have nothing to add, just that I am really excited that you are cycling again!  
    TTC Child #1 Sept '08, Dx: Unexplained, DOR 2 IUI's = BFN, m/c, IVF 1 = 0 embies to put back, IVF 2 = BFN, IVF 3 = cancelled, IVF 4 = BFP with 1 embie. Our son came into our life on 9/28/11. We are in love! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
