What are you scared of?

I'm scared of anything to do with possessions, spirits. All of that. I try to believe ignorance is bliss.

This picture specifically makes me want to shat myself. It's from the Amityville horror house. The family took it. Keep in mind that this isn't their son:

I don't really believe in anything supernatural, but I still get freaked out by bumps in the night. I absolutely hate scary movies. And, that picture is absolutely creeping me out.

I am so afraid of the dark. I'm a big horror movie lover though. I'm also afraid of people grabbing my feet when I walk up the stairs. DH knows he's not allowed to leave me downstairs by myself. When we're done watching TV and going to bed he always waits for me to walk upstairs first or I freak out on him.

A movie that scares the bejesus out of me is Mothman Prophesies. Holy hell that freaks me the eff out.

Edit: I'm typing in the dark and it's hard.

Yeah, I'm terrified of the dark, but it's a recent thing ever since I had DS. I had no issues (darkness related) before he came along.

I'm also scared to death of bees/wasps/other stinging or biting flying insects. It's not just a light fear. I almost jumped out of a moving car that was on the side of a cliff to get away from one trapped in the car. Thankfully I had my seatbelt on and DH to me to shake some sense into me. I had the door open and was reaching for the seatbelt before he was able to get through to me. They don't call it an irrational fear for nothing.

Similarly, I am unable to sleep with my feet uncovered or with my hands or feet hanging off the side of the bed. I also have issues sleeping with the closet door open.

Surprise That's crazy. I think I'm on that level with spiders. I scream like a biitch and jump on a chair just like a cartoon. I feel bad for you. Insects are everywhere!

Great. Now I will never sleep. That movie is terrifying, although I watch it every time it's on because Ryan Reynolds is a really hot evil guy. I am terrified of all things supernatural. And because of that stupid movie Paranormal Activity, I have to have my feet covered when I sleep too. My irrational fear is of birds. I freak out when it comes to birds, feathers, basically anything with wings. I've been known to run screaming from a room.

Goats, and I used to volunteer at a zoo with two huge petting zoos. Thankfully they took me off petting zoo duty about the 3rd time I jumped over the wooden fence to the regular walkway screaming and crying. Apparently I was freaking out guests.

ETA: That's about the only thing that REALLY freaks me out other than bees and wasps that actually land on me. The rest like spiders, mice, snakes, and other miscellaneous "creepy crawlies" I've actually kept as pets (currently have a Brazilian Salmon Pink Bird Eating Spider) and paranormal stuff and the dark doesn't bother me Tongue Tied I just have a really weird fear.

Why are you posting this in the middle of the night?? LOL It's scary enough at 7:45 in the morning. Personally, I believe that spirits/ghosts are demons, rather than the spirits of the dead. Not sure if that's better or worse. Stick out tongue

Being alone in the house at night. I have a hard time falling asleep.

I hate clowns, not necessarily scared of them just find them creepy.

Oh....and worms are disgusting and I don't even like the thought of them. I get the shivers just looking at a picture of one.

That picture is creepy as hell...I've had some paranormal experiences where I don't live in fear but I respect that there are things out there I don't want to mess with and hope they'll leave me alone.

I hate having the shower curtain closed in the bathroom, especially at night. I think I saw Fatal Attraction way too young and always see that woman rising out of the water with a knife. I need to see what's in there.

Some intersections in our town are a bit iffy (people don't stop). I constantly worry that someone with T-bone our car with DS in it and he'll take the brunt of the impact.

I do this too. I've never been stung, and while I know it probably won't really hurt and I have epi pens in case I'm allergic (since I'm allergic to so many other things), they do freak me out.

Popping out of lurkdome to freak you out more. This picture was actually taken after the families' murder. The house was empty and a camera was set up to take pictures at intervals. This is the only picture that anything showed up in.

i'm not really sure what is so creepy about that picture. I live about 15 minutes from the real Amity Horror house and it's not that scray. But then again, I"m not afraid of ghost or spirits. When I actually encounter one, my mind might change, but until then....I don't believe in it. Spiders, insects and snakes creep me out, but I"m deathly afraid of the dark, well more when I'm someplace that's light and then the lights suddenly go out. Scares the crap out of me.
