July 2011 Moms

I finally cried!

I have NOT been an emotional pregnant lady at all - in fact I haven't cried once this entire pregnancy. I keep waiting for it, but nope.

THEN tonight I decided to watch Knocked Up on TV....yeah, at the end, I was bawling like a baby. Like not a few tears....BAWLING uncontrollably for at least 10 minutes.

I just kept saying to DH "we're going to have two babies soon...TWO BABIES"

And for some odd reason I finally feel more "normal" now that I have cried at something stupid.

Re: I finally cried!

  • Two more reasons to feel normal:
my doc said in the 28-32 weeks our hormones are at their highest levels (I can't imagine what its like with two)

both DH and I watched the same movie and cried! we were laughing at each other crying...

Welcome to the world of preggo normalcy ;)

  • I watched that movie tonight, too!  I had to keep telling myself, "keep it together, keep it together..." But to no avail.  Then I went to the grocery store with DH and there was a couple with an infant there and I swear I nearly peed myself with excitement.  DH was like, um, okay, so it's a baby.  It's not OUR baby.  He doesn't understand that I haven't had nearly enough baby-exposure time for it to become old hat, not yet.

Nice watching a movie with you!
