Cloth Diapering

Don't order from fabric.com!

This most recent time I ordered 3 yards of red terry cloth and 1.5 yards of white - they said ships within 48 hours, so 3 business days later I called and asked if they knew when my order would be sent.  Magically 15 minutes later I had a tracking notice in my inbox.  Well, lo and behold this tiny box shows up at my doorstop today - I knew something was wrong.  I took it out and measured it - they sent me 1 yard of red, and 1 yard of white.....  I have people waiting on me to get their items that they paid for done.... and now I have to wait for CS to respond to my email, wait for them to ship..... neither yard is enough to finish a set of what I need to get done....

So I requested they send me the right amounts of continuous yardage tomorrow....

Previously I ordered a to-die-for fabric to make a baby blanket for my baby to be.  I anxiously awaited my order - it arrived, and the fabric was wrong!!  It was a coordinating fabric to the fabric I ordered.  I triple checked that I ordered the right stuff - the wrong fabric even had the right label on it!!  I called, they simply said that they ran out of the fabric I ordered, and they emailed me a return shipping label.  I then had to re-order the right fabric from a different site - paying over twice what I originally paid for the fabric..... ughh.  This was their last chance, and they totally blew it... I just hope CS does what I request.  I threatened them with the BBB... hopefully that works.....

Maybe it's pregnancy hormones... but sending me the wrong amount of fabric just seems unacceptable....

  • I've ordered from them probably 4 or 5 times, and the first few were fine, but the last two times now they've messed up.  I thought it was a fluke that they ran out of the fabric and didn't call/notify - but I'm pretty upset about the wrong amount... and their lack of CS hasn't helped.  I measured 10 mins after they closed - so I just sent them an email, hopefully I'll hear back early tomorrow...

  • I've only ordered once. I ordered on a Friday and I received it on Monday, I was impressed. Sorry you've had such bad experiences :(

  • The only problem that I had was after a few orders, they started getting sloppy with their "Cuts".  One end would be cut on a slant.  I let it go the first time or two, but then I got disgusted, took pictures and emailed them.  I was willing to send the 2 different yds of fabric back, but they said to keep it and sent me new stuff that was cut much neater.

    I have since found other companies to order from, plus there's a Joannes about 20 mins from me, and another huge fabric store right down the hwy.  If I can't get what I want there, I bite the bullet and order online...

    Sorry they've been such a bummer for you...that totally stinks, especially when your on a time crunch with an order.
