Come laugh at me being a dummy...

In New York for work, from Chicago, so used to Chicago trains, totally got on the wrong train this morning.

In my haste to get back OFF said wrong train, tripped and totally ate it on the subway platform.

I lived, and made it to my destination, but my ego was bruised, for sure. LOL!

    I think I was more embarassed about being on the wrong train, than on the fall.  LOL!  Chicago trains, and New York trains, are TOTALLY different.  most notably...  when you go the the platform for, say, the blue train in Chicago, only the effing blue train stops on that platform.

    In New York, when you are looking to get on the 4 train, well, the 2, 3, and 5 can also stop there.  

    So pay attention to the sign ON THE TRAIN, before you get on, run off, and bite it on concrete, in business attire, at 8:30am.  LOL!!

    Ouch!  Poor thing!  Yeah, usually those type of accidents hurt the ole self esteem more than they hurt physically lol Smile

    Oh my, just take comfort in knowing that you will likely never see any of the people who may have seen you fall ever again. That is the only way that I get past it! The Chicago weather was really nasty today, so don't blame yourself.  You were one of hundreds sliding around on the nasty wooden platforms!!
