i already was a water drinker--it is all i drink during all day besides my milk at breakfast. i know this will change once it gets warmer out and i am trying--i carry a water bottle with me when we leave the house...but it still isn't 8 glasses.

My midwife told me I'm supposed to drink a gallon a day. Sooooo not even close. I started adding crystal light packets every now and then which helps, but I'm still not close.

Surprise Pregnancy 02/11!
I have always had close to a gallon/day and unless I am too lazy to refill my water bottle at the drinking fountain during the day, I'm still getting that much.

I try to drink water, but I really don't drink alot of anything, even pre-pregnancy. I sip on stuff all day long, but it takes me forever to actually drink a whole bottle of water.

I am. It's all I drink besides a glass of OJ in the morning. Prior to the pregnancy I practiced hot yoga and drank well over 100 ounces each day. Now I'm at about 64 oz. I think that's why it doesn't seem like I am peeing more than usual- I am used to going a lot!
I've never really liked water. I drink about 20oz a day at work but with a packet of crystal light in it. At home I may drink a little bit of propel zero but very rarely do I drink plain water and never 8 glasses a day.
I bought a liter size water bottle and was trying to drink at least 3 of them a day, but then I just went out and bought a 3 liter bottle. I find the container helps because if I keep refilling one small glass/bottle it seems like a lot more than just trying to drink one or 2 huge bottles.
I drink anywhere from 64-80oz a day of ice cold water. But that's my favorite drink and I always drink at least 64 oz, pregnant or not. I don't really drink much else.

I buy the gallon bottle and keep it with me all day. It helps with keeping track when i am slacking on the fluids. I drink all but one glass or so, and I stop drinking around 8pm.
Last time around I drank water like I was fueling up for a trip across the desert. This time water tastes disgusting for some reason and I am having a hard time getting it down. I crave juice like crazy but I can't have any.
Depends on if I'm working or not. On days when I have a supply teaching job, I don't drink much water until the school day's over 'cause I can't keep running to the bathroom. When I'm not teaching, I do a much better job of getting in enough water.
I have a 20 oz cup that I have with me at work everyday and I'm constantly filling it up. I usually drink 3-4/day so thats 60-80 ounces of water. So, I'm getting the amount we should have a day, but I also have juice in the mornings and decaf sweet tea at night since I'm really not a big water drinker to begin with.
I am, but I've always been a big water drinker. It's SUPER dry where I live, and I work out, so I find I really do need a lot of water. Plus, I'm paranoid about UTI (I seem to get them more easily when I slack on the water).
I'm trying, it was my New Years Resolution this year to drink more water, and then I got pregnant so I really have to keep up with it! I carry a water bottle with me all the time, which helps, but I don't think I'm getting as much as I should. Adding frozen raspberries helps me drink more too, and a lot of times I just figure, my pee is clear, I'm doing okay! LOL
I usually have a glass of milk a day, and a glass or 2 of cranberry juice.
I too was a big water drinker before & I drink even more now b/c I always seem thristy. I have a water bottle at work that's 2.2 liters & I drink 2 of those at work & then I drink a few big glasses of ice water at home. Not including my cup of coffee in the AM & anything else I drink non-water throughout the day, but I mostly stick to water.

I don't take one single minute for granted.
I drink at least that, usually more. I'm thirsty all the time, if I skimp I get headaches and I wake up all night dying of thirst with dry mouth. I am motivated to drink a lot.
I also drink coconut water, juice, and sparkling water to mix it up. Also someone on here recommended adding frozen raspberries or other fruit to flavor the water, I've been doing that, it's so good, and then the raspberries melt and you can eat them

I was a water drinker before, so no real change. I drink about 160 oz a day, or 10 16 oz glasses (which I guess would technically be 20 glasses of water a day?)
on the weekends i'm bad but i come very close to 64 oz...during the week I drink probably 80oz or more. But that is really all i drink...except for the an occasional root beer.

Wowee....how many bathroom trips do you make LOL I thought I drank a lot. That's great though, if you plan to BF that will be very VERY beneficial to your milk supply!

I drink at least 3 - 16oz water bottles, but too much more and I am up all night going to the bathroom! My bladder is getting smaller and smaller! It's cutting into my sleep time!
My midwife told me I'm supposed to drink a gallon a day. Sooooo not even close.
A GALLON a day?! I would explode! lol! I told my Dr. have been drinking as much as I can stand. lol! and thats the truth. I was already a watter drinker and I have been making an effort to drink more but one can only consume so much liquid a day! lol! i think they are trying to make us explode!
I'm pretty certain that the liquids you drink during the day don't HAVE to all be water. I've read that any kind of broth/soup or juice, milk, etc. all count. I used to only drink water, besides an occasional glass of juice and milk with my cereal for breakfast. However, during my first trimester water was the LAST thing I wanted to drink. It just felt too Liquidy? splashing around in my stomach. (That probably doesn't even make logical sense but...whatever). I drank Ginger Ale like I could single-handedly save the company if it were going bankrupt. Since hitting the second tri. I've been adding more water into my diet but it's much more sparingly than before I was pregnant.
I normally drink about 100oz of water a day but sometimes I am inconsistent on days I am not at work. Now I am just trying to be extra sure I have all 100oz a day.
I drink between 40-60 oz at work, and then either have water or milk with dinner. In the bottle I bring to work, I mix 2/3 water with 1/3 V8 fusion, and then just refill that all day.
Nope. When I do drink something at work during the day, my drink of choice is water (don't like pop) but even pre-pregnancy I struggled with drinking enough water. Sometimes I only have a few sips per day. Now I've been trying to drink more but maybe only get about 1- 8oz serving in per day (I know so bad) but I just can't seem to drink more and I don't know why.
Its 8 cups that are 8oz so thats about 64oz. I drink about two twenty four oz water bottles and then a couple glasses of juice and sparkling water. So I am probably just hitting it.

I don't drink a lot of water. I've never been a water drinker and I probably only have maybe 1 cup a day if that.
I should really step it up.
