DH and I have the house to ourselves on Saturday night and I want to do something fun. We are being strict about saving money so we cant go out. And I am bored of sitting around watching movies with him. Do you girls have any fun ideas for us?
DH and I love playing board games! We make popcorn or dip and play a few. We also star gaze, drive around purposly turning on the roads were not sure of to see where it takes us, bath and foot spa night together, mesage nights, try out a new meal and have fun cooking together, trying to of more but there are some.
Dh & I have "sexual seduction" nights Each one is a different theme & we take turns planning them. I think casino night was the best so far...Spencer's has a little game set that had all kinds of sexy type games in it & it was SO fun! I'm sure you can just use some dice & assign different positions or actions to them if you don't want to spend any money! Hope your night is a great one!
Get in to the kitchen and cook! Either you or him decides who is going to cook for the other - and cook their favourite meal. The non-cooker's job is to then spruce up the dining room/eating area with candles, flowers, whatever tickles your funny bone - something that's relevant and important to the two of you. Make it super-romanitc and get some of that 'you' time together - have a hoot, and laugh.
I'm so so envious - we're in Winnipeg with no family around to babysit (closest relative is 2500km's away - about a 24hr drive). Have an awesome night and relax and re-connect!

That sounds so fun! I wish DH would go for that. My DH has been so freaked out since DS's birth that he is literally afraid to have sex. I had a complicated pregnancy and he thinks that if we have sex we will automatically get pregnant and then I will have another bad pregnancy. Sorry for the TMI

Yeah I think I am going to do the cooking thing. I want it to be way romantic since things havent been the best with us lately. I am so excited now.
I have been wanting to do an inside-picnic! Cushy blanket and pillows on the floor. Could lend itself to romance, especially if you choose romantic foods that you can feed each other...
I like to treat my man to a fresh homemade lasagna every once in a while. Cooking a special candlelit dinner is always an awesome idea! And he might need someone to help clean the sauce off!

I don't know. If you really feel like only Italian will put you in the mood, then I'm inclined to go with tiramisu. Just seems like it would be a little more comfortable...
A camp out (in the living room) - Set up a pop up tent in the middle of the living room. On the wall that the tent opens out to stick those glow in the dark stars all over. Make smores over the stove, star gaze, tell each other scary stories, play board games and sleep in sleeping bags that are zipped together.

game night - make something easy and open a bottle of wine and hit the twister board!
Romantic night- recreate your first date at home style, make the same meal and go down memory lane
sports night - do pizza and or wings, watch Basket Ball or Base Ball drink beer and have fun!
Fantasy night - try something new, in every area if you know what I mean.
I was thinking the same exact thing.
