So a PP made me think of this when one poster was born in 1965 and another one's mom was born in 1962!  So, I thought it would be fun to see who has the youngest mom and who has the oldest?

So, what year was your mom born and is this their first grandchild?  If not their first, how old were they when they had their first grandchild?

My mom was born in 1947 and my stepmom in 1946.  Stepmom became a grandmother in 1997 when she was 50.

My mom was born in 1955...this is her second grandchild, first was in 2008.  So she was 52 (almost 53).

My Mom was born in 1960, had me at 25, and technically, this is her first grand child.  She will be 50 this year (oh the teasing ).  I say techinically because my Dad has 2 sons from a previous marriage that have children, but they just call my Mom Pam, not any type of Grandma.  I am her oldest child.

If you count my nephews, then my Mom became a Grandma at 38.

My mom was born in 1945. She was 36 when I was born, and I have a 40 year old brother (who was born in '69....so weird that some of your moms were born just a few years before him!).

She just became a grandmother 5 years ago at 60. My brother was 35 when his daughter was born.

My mother was born in 1941 and my daughter Mary Page, born in Nov '09 is her first and only grandchild.  However, if I factor in my mother in law, I may have everyone beat.  My MIL was born in 1922 and turned 87 just before Mary Page-- HER first grandchild -- was born.  My husband is an only child and his mother was older when he was born.  My mother-in-law, called Nana by baby, had given up ever having grandchildren!

My mom was born in 1937. She had me when she was 40 in 1977. Her first grandchild was born when she was 45 in 1982. My LO is her 11th grandchild, she also has 2 step-grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren!

I am tying EJDIII, my Mom was born in 1937 as well. She had me when she was 37 and my brother at 35. My nephew was born in 2004 and was her first grandchild. She has 3 grandchildren.

I think I said on here the other day that my mom was 54...she'd kill me if she saw that I'd said that hah I was thinking she was born in 55, but that was my dad.
