Since I am so tired, coffee is helping but I know I shouldnt! I am not drinking it everyday and not a lot (less than 1 cup, 3-4 times this week) but....
I even try half milk and half coffee to dilute it and trick myself.
I quit coffee cold turkey until this week (I would have herbal tea if I wanted something warm) ... my brother was in town and every morning when he made some for himself I couldn't resist half a cup. I think I just got over some of my paranoia finally too, because lets face it a small amount of coffee doesn't hurt!
You aren't drinking very much, so why not just continue?
I don't drink coffee, but I do drink soda and iced tea. I'm not drinking as much/as often as I would if I wasn't pregnant, but I'm not cutting it out entirely. It's fine in moderation.

I make a 6oz cup on the Keurig and sip it until my headaches go away in the morning. In the afternoon I treat myself to a Diet Coke. I've read that caffeine in moderation is fine and until I go to my doctor next week that is my plan and I've been happy with that!

I had to slowly lower my intake- and was experiencing headaches early on. I probably drink coffee about 1-2x a week now, but I do half decaf if I can. I tried brewing my own decaf and it was absolutely disgusting!

a cup or two of coffee (or other caffeinated beverages) is fine per day, nothing to beat yourself up over. Decaf is GROSS. I'd never even tried it until I got pg, and it just has this flat, nasty aftertaste. I can't believe people drink that stuff willingly! LOL

I am not, my doc said I can still drink coffee, just only 2 cups a day. She said it is completely fine, but everyones doc is different.

They say 1 cup (anywhere from 150 mg-300 mg) of caffeine a day is ok but diet coke is very dangerous for your growing baby. The diet sugars in the soda have been linked to neuropsychiatric and chronic disorders. Not lecturing just passing along what I have read as I would hope someone would do for me:)
you could do 1/2 caff and 1/2 decaff. I was only drinking less than one cup a day, so I quit cold turkey. I had headaches for a few days then I didn't miss it at all.
it sounds pretty gross right now, actually.

I'm a huge coffee drinker and I'm also having a hard time not drinking more then one cup of coffee a day/cutting out caffinated drinks. I've looked at various websites and books and they all say 200mg of caffine is fine, so if I can get away with my cup of coffee in the morning that's fine by me! You seem to be cutting back less then I am so I don't think it's that big of a problem.
I just drink coffee. It's a sick joke to tell a pregnant woman with exhaustion and a 2 year old boy that she can not have caffeine. My doc said less than 2 cops per day is A-OK.

In EXTREMELY high amounts, perhaps. But the literature my dr. gave me said that a small amount of aspartame is just fine. People eat low calorie yogurt, drink crystal light, etc. and all of that has artificial sweetener in it. A small amount is fine.

My dr. was super conservative and strongly encouraged me to stop all caffeine. I wasn't drinking a lot to begin with, so going cold turkey wasn't bad....
My headaches are so bad lately that I've found drinking a caffeinated beverage actually really helps take that nasty edge off my pounding headache. So I'm adding it back in whenever need be for my headaches...
I stopped drinking it as my new years resolution. It was HARD, but I'm glad I started when I did. I've been drinking it religiously since I can remember. Honestly, I think quitting may have played a part in helping me concieve...
I had been cutting back for the past few months in hopes that I'd be getting a BFP, so I started mixing half-caff, and then down to about 1/3-caff when grinding my coffee beans. A few days after my BFP, I got a nasty sore throat (that's still lingering), so I haven't even craved coffee for a few days now. I guess getting sick is kinda helping me kick that craving! I'll probably still want decaf or a little-caff after I get better, but I'll try to keep my number of cups per day to 1 or 2.
I switched to half caff coffee and I have a cup a day. It's not as bad as decaf. I switched to decaf iced tea though because I could drink a ton of it.

I'm not. Up to 200mg a day is perfectly fine. I have one cup a day.
I already can't have wine and a billion other things. If they say small amounts of coffee are okay, I'm taking it.
Yuck. I can't stand the taste of decaf! It's got a really flat taste to me.
