huggies diapers are a waste!
Anyone else, especially moms of boys, feel like Huggies diapers leak every time?. Last night I put a fresh diaper on DS and put him to bed, 2 hours later he woke up to eat, totally soaked in pee. The diapers leaked so bad it went through his onsie, pj, blaket and soaked his sleep wedge. Again this morning in the 20 minutes it took me to drive him to his dads house, he peed through a onsie, pants, blanket and all over his carseat! I dont care that I have a150 of those damn diapers, im making a bonfire with them tonight.
I will say however, I absolutely love Pampers swaddlers, and will totally spend the extra cash on them. As far as wipes go, anyone that lives near Aldi, lullabyes are awesome.

Yep. They're pretty rubbish! I got a ton of them from the diaper raffle at my shower. I wish I had just returned them and bought pampers instead. I fnd that they're better if you make sure the elastic isn't still attached to the fabric before you put it on. But they still leak. My bff swears by them though.
After two days with Huggies we decided to only use Pampers. Never had a leak till this morning. Super wet diaper!

Huggies leak like crazy. I thought at first it was because LO was too tiny, but I tried one again today because I had a pack, right after I changed DD while she was still on the changing table she pooped in the huggies I had just put on her. before taking it off, I inspected and sure enough poop was coming out the sides of her legs! good thing this happened right after I changed her and there didn't end up being a big mess.
Pampers are the BEST!

We love Huggies Snug and Dry. Have no problems.
I guess you missed the whole recall thing on those. It was posted everywhere. They didn't send out notices, so you can't blame the mailman on that one!
Also, lose the blanket. Why are you using a onsie AND a PJ? Come on Jesirae... get it together.
For the record you are seriously the most negative *** I have ever come across. I don't know what the hell your problem is, and why you feel like you need to practically harass me on a message board. You are acting like a 16 year old. I hope you grow up before your LO, so you don't pass your negativity along to her. God knows there are enough people like you in this world, we certainly don't need anymore. Your comments are not only unwanted, but are also not necessary. You can find a job in your local news paper, or the craigslist classifieds if you are that bored with your life.
And before you make stupid comments and assumptions about things, make sure you know what you are talking about.. a sleep WEDGE if very different from a sleep POSITIONER. Its not used to hold lo in place, its used to reduce spit up for possible acid reflux. Sleep wedges were not in fact recalled, so please brush up on your facts before you make yourself look like an idiot.

As for the later mentioned notion of "passing negativity on to your children"....the same can be said for promiscuous behavior. *shrug*
We also had problems with Huggies leaking a lot, he would soak through all the time, and when he pooped it would almost always come out the sides (one time it poured out when I picked him up)!
I actually wanted Huggies to work better because I like the feel of them better, the way they stretch and the way they fit around the legs, but Pampers work much better for us and contains everything.

Huggies leaked for us too-- however I found that if I open them up before I put them on him ( tug on the back, and hold the front and back and stretch it out to open it up a little more), it works wonders.
We've got a box left and I'm using them up!! Otherwise I've got a few boxes of pampers upstairs that we'll be using.
Now if only I could get him to stop peeing on me/the couch/bed/himself everytime I open his diaper....
