Who is bored, has a sense of humor and is having a boy?

My IRL friend is 12 weeks pregnant and begged me to do the baking soda gender test. After explaining to her that it is probably bunk, she continued begging. To humor her I agreed to do it. Now she's desperate to find someone who is having a boy repeat the test to complete her "scientific" experiment. Everyone I know IRL is having a girl. So, can I get a volunteer to help me by humoring someone you don't even know? All you need is baking soda, two cups, your pee and a sense of humor. Let me know if you're willing, and I'll explain the rest.

Yay, yellow daisy! She wanted me to pee in one cup and put the baking soda in another and then poor some pee into the cup with the baking soda. You know... To make it all science like. Ha ha. She said 1-2tsp of baking soda.

Ha! That sounds like my best friend begging me to do the Intelligender test. I'm having a boy but don't have any baking soda on hand. The next time I find some though I'm doing this experiment!

Yup it fizzed and bubbled up like soda or beer foam....LOL! I was really hoping DH wouldn't walk by the bathroom while I was pouring pee from one cup to the other. I think we need at least one more boy and one girl mom to do this for control purposes :-P.

ETA: never mind I reread the original post and see you already did it. I think at least one more boy mom would be good though.

It didn't fizz a lot, but I think my baking soda is expired. I'm not completely sure though because I can't read the date on the box because it was printed weird.

I can't really tell if it fizzed or not. It sort of just loooked like the baking soda and pee mixed making a white liquid. It might have been made up of miniscule bubbles, but I'm not 100% sure. (We are having a boy, btw).

I did it both ways - pee into baking soda and baking soda into pee - I think the pee into baking soda may have been slightly foamy. Definitely not like pouring a soda though. The baking soda into pee didn't seem to do anything.
