Two Girls: Abigail (Abby) and Lucy - I like both, but I would give Lucy a longer name also (ex. Lucinda or Lucille). Two Boys: Archer and Hunter - These are WAY too theme-based IMO. It seems silly to me. I like Archer the best of the two.One boy, one girl: Archer and Abigail (abby) - A little matchy, but not bad. I like both names.

I agree with all of this, but would add for Archer and Abigail that I'm not really a fan of twins (of any gender) having names that start with the same letter. Though I do like both names.

I agree with Ames. Archer and Hunter sound so country to me and very similar.
A big thumbs down on the boy names. Won't Brody feel left out that he doesn't have an occupation name too? Use one or the other, but not both together. Archer isn't as bad as Hunter IMO.
Two Girls: Abigail (Abby) and Lucy - I like both, but I agree with a PP that a longer version of Lucy would be nice. Two Boys: Archer and Hunter - I like Archer but agree with PP's that these are way too themed sounding. I am not a fan of twin's being named with themes. One boy, one girl: Archer and Abigail (abby) - Sweet. I do like both names and they sound good together. That said, still not a huge fan of the matchiness of the first letters.I've said it on this board before, and I'll say it again : I have a twin sister (identical), and the first good parenting decision my parents made was to give us names that are not matchy. (The second great decision they made was to never dress us exactly alike!).
Im very suprised about the Hunter/ Archer feedback, I posted my names on an iphone app and my blog and facebook and every one loves them. But maybe thats because both names were on my list when we were pregnant with my son a few years ago.
And since my husband IS an archery hunter it seemed to fit even better when we put the two of them together...
and brody is an occupational name... it means 'canal builder' or 'ditch digger'
I like Archer, but Hunter is really NMS. Hunter just doesn't sound very polished to me. And together, they come off as a bit matchy, both having hunting associations, ending with -er, being two syllables, etc.
I like Archer and Abigail, but I think Archer and Lucy sounds better and is less matchy.

It may just be me, but Brody is much more subtle. Archer and Hunter are not subtle in theme at all to me. I do like Archer a lot and if it means a lot to you, then I can see choosing it. I do also like that Archer and Hunter, while themed sounding, do not rhyme or start with the same letter.
Re: Twin Names....?
Abigail & lucy are ok.
Dislike Hunter. Archer is ok but not paired with Hunter.
I agree that Archer and Hunter would be too matchy in theme. I like them both separately though.
Im not really a fan of Abby, but that is just personal preference. It is a fine name. I love the name Lucy though.
Mommy's little helper
I love your girl names.
I agree that the whole Archer/Hunter theme sounds kind of silly.
Archer and Hunter combined are HORRIBLE. Archers are people that HUNT with a bow and arrow.... "The Archer went Hunting" Not good...
Archer and Abigail is cute!!!

Archer and Hunter? Really?
The girl names are fine.

Love, love, love Abigail and Lucy.
