My little girl is getting so big and strong that she can push, slow and hard, and it HURTS. I was even crying out in pain earlier! I have to plan on going to bed at least an hour earlier than I want to, since she really gets going as soon as I lay down and doesn't stop for quite some time. I can't believe how strong her movements are!

Re: Baby's movements so strong they hurt VENT
Oh my goodness, I'm right there with you. I even yelled at her today. She has her foot permanently lodged in my rib and it HURTS. Then there are the times when she decides to roll across my entire uterus or stretching out her entire body.
Last night I was on the verge of tears and telling DH that I don't mind sharing my body with her but I need my body too.

I gasped and exclaimed, "Violet, NO!" at one point, and DH said, "Don't yell at her! She doesn't know any better!" It was kind of an amusing exchange in hindsight.
LO doesn't kick hard too often, but she pushes random body parts (I think I'm feeling little knees and feet most of the time) out REALLY hard. Usually, I can push on the little lump sticking out and she'll wriggle away, but sometimes I get rewarded with a defiant kick.

Yeah that's cute but at the same time he has NO idea how painful or uncomfortable it is. There's no way for him to know.

I tell Hubby all the time that she is destined to be a soccer player or a dancer. Since 20 weeks, she has kicked, punched, and flailed non-stop. She never seems to sleep.
They have gotten more and more painful though.
this! and those big stretches sometimes hurt! like it's like a "tender" feeling.
My baby was so strong yesterday, and I made DH come sit on the couch next to me, hand on belly, to feel what five minutes in my life is like now.
His eyes got so big, it was priceless! I kept saying "all day long, babe, all day long."
I also have yelled STOP IT a bunch of times. It hurts like a mofo. I'm sorry we're all going through this.
Haha I've started doing this lately. Making him feel it for a bit! with our first born (who was a big baby) the movement was there, but never painful, or to the point of tears... which is what this baby does to me numerous times a day. My husband loved feeling the movement with our first, with this one he says it freaks him out, and he wants to know whats in there because he thinks its trying to break out early!
Pretty much this. Last night I found myself 'yelling' at DS... "Child! Quit it!" lol
