I am making a giant cupcake, well the pan doesn't hold an entire box of mix, so i had to dump about a 1/4 box of chocolate cake mix down the drain. Crying

That is a tragedy. You could have made regular size cupcakes for us with the rest of it. :-)

I would have made a couple of cupcakes out of the remaining batter. I've done that even when there was only enough batter for two... :::whistles::: ((there are reasons for my fattyness Big Smile ))

(and probably eaten them myself)

Ugh that sucks. I have had that happen before, what I did was refrigerate the left over batter while the rest was baking and then when it was done, refil the pan with the remaining batter and bake. Then eat !
