Parenting after a Loss

Recordable books

I PPH them

My mom recorded one for Jason for his birthday and "she's" been "reading" to him for the past 30 minutes.  DH gets a little annoyed hearing my mom's voice all the time but it doesn't bother me Wink

btw, my MIL recorded one too but I have that one hidden Angel

Re: Recordable books

  • I love them too.  IL's sent one with Wesley.  I am trying to get my grandparents to record one.  I know they won't be around forever but it would be nice if they can continue to read to him.  (=  My parents need to do one too.

  • Where do I find these??? Both sets of Grandparents are far away and I'd love it if the boys had these.

they're made by Hallmark so I'm sure you can find them in a Hallmark store

  • My MIL sent one to our DD for Christmas called "Guess How Much I Miss You" and I was sobbing the first time I read it to her.  MH's family is in AZ, so she obviously doesn't see them often and it's really nice for her to hear their voices every once in a while.
