Silk=gassy and nasty diaper making baby?

We've been avoiding milk since C had the pukes all last week.  We're planning on slowly adding it back this weekend, but the kid desprately wants milk at bedtime.  I started giving him some silk (I water it down a bit since it's so sweet) and I'm noticing that he's been farting like a trucker and had 2 completely disgusting diapers since starting the Silk.  Any correlation???

    T drinks Silk due to his milk allergy, and I must say that he's not gassy, but his poops definitely have a distinctive stink to them...I googled and it seems common for soy milk = smelly diapers. I'm looking forward to the day he can hopefully drink regular milk!!
