PPD/PPA Mom...it has been super hard, but I'm making it! Slow steps... Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1). Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
That must be ridiculously large for a girl. DS at his 6 month was 22 lbs, 8 oz and 28.5 inches, which was 97% (for a boy!) for both. He had a head start since he was over 10 lbs and over 21 inches at birth. Some babies are just big.
I wouldn't say ridiculouslylarge....yes, she is big but she is poportioned as well. She packs one hell of a backache, but I love her to much to even really care about that.
Sorry if you took offense. As I said, some babies are just big and knowing DS was 97% at 22 lbs, 8 oz and 28.5 in and that girls are typically smaller, I can only imagine that your daughter is in a different percentile being heavier and shorter. That has nothing to do with love for your child obviously!

It's all good.
