Uncommon symptoms

Is anyone experiencing pain in your hands and feet, especially in the middle of the night? Is like my bones are hurting, its hard to describe. It is really scary and I did not get pain like that with first pregnancy. I also get very very cold sometimes.

  • My expecting book said something about when the ligaments in our bellys stretch sometimes that happens in other parts of our bodies too.  Shoes may not fit the same and such.. maybe thats it?  Someone please confirm or correct.

  • All of my joints have been hurting too.  It's because of the "relaxing" hormone that gets sent through our body to make things stretch and move around - it affects not just those areas.

  • So my hands and feet are growing? I can see my feet getting larger to accommodate future weight gain. They did get a little bigger with first pregnancy and I went up a 1/2 size. Not looking forward to going up another 1/2 size. And why are the hands getting bigger? HahahaConfused

  • My hands oftened tingled, almost like they were a sleep, in both of my previous pregnancies at night. It was not a pleasant feeling, especially since it would wake me up and I could never go back to sellp.

    This.

My arms and hands "fall asleep" when I'm sleeping in the same positions I always have. This started in week 6 or 7.

The hormones that cause you to stretch and relax aren't selective, they work everywhere.  It's the same reason you get constipated too, your GI tract relaxes as well.
