Gas Company came finally- F/U to gas complaint post

They finally came. The guy was awesome. He did a super thorough examination of our house. Couldn't find a leak anywhere and said ground water that leaked in may have caused the smell.
He really examined our furnace and tested all around it. Found out we have a minor carbon monoxide leak   So our furnace is off for the night and we have to have someone come out immediately tomorrow. The kids rooms are good because we have space heaters in them already (our bedrooms tend to get and stay cold without them, regularly).  We can't run one in our bedroom though because the bedrooms are all on the same fuse. 

FRUSTRATING, but thankful that the guy came and knew what he was talking about. 

Oh... and we have a working carbon monoxide detector- it's just not reading it.
