I'm on the t and this woman is telling her friend that her cousin had a baby girl recently and they named her Eli. They thought it was unique and then they went to the ssa website and it was in the top ten. So of course I pulled it up. Then I started giggling because I thought of preppy posting multiple times about being named the top name of her birth year even though she wasn't.

Ummmm, don't you mean lawyer/marketing/finance gig & writer on the side? She has a food blog now & recently (supposedly) became an occasional writer for a food magazine...
I have no idea how people keep up when they make up crap. It just---spins.

GC I'm starving and when I see you post it makes me what potato chips.
(Oh I have nothing to add.) Apparntly I was MIA when she went nuts and missed all the fun.
If I remember correctly, she and I share the same first name and it didn't become #1 until the mid 90s, it stayed up there until '07, but it took a few years to gain its steam.
What a silly thing to lie about- having the #1 name? I don't remember the backstory but that is so, so silly.

Her baby=fine. She never came back b/c she squee'd {the excited kind} when she thought she might be in PTL & we gave her sh!t about it. I guess btwn that & questioning her lies, she decided to not come back (as that sn anyway)...

well she WAS a Nanny. She also has a miracle baby and is SuperBestestMostTotallyAwesome {mom} so of course it would have a parenting section!
This. She looks NOTHING like I thought she would of. Wasn't it Preppy that wouldn't/couldn't post any pictures of her face and her H wouldn't let her post pictures of her DS when he was born? Or am I thinking of someone else?
I am surprised that someone that was raised as sophisticated and klassy as preppy has foil lining her burners. I give her a side eye for that.

it is. however there was one pic of them that she posted once, where she had short brown hair, so I know (supposedly) what both of them look like from that. I think her H got mad at her for posting that one even. I wonder how it came to be that she's all out of the proverbial internet closet and posting educational info? unless it's {not true}.

So where does working on her computer all day researching forums for a high profile cosmetics company fit in?
I also pictured her very differently! I always thought of her as a blonde and she was always talking about how thin she was(even pg, she just struggled so much gaining weight! *gag*), so I pictured her smaller.
ETA: I'm not implying that she looks big, just average sized.
With the constant talk of eating/not eating/working out I got the impression that she either currently had or had had an eating disorder at some point.
I thought she had some condition that caused her to not be able to gain weight. But she definitely doesn't look as thin as she said/implied here.
Haha, this reminded me of her posts where she talked about how she was eating "so much." She would then describe "so much" as a veggie sub or half of a lean cuisine pizza.
