Nat, there is no denying that all three of those kids got their fighting gene from their mama. Due to internet and phone issues I couldn't post much when you were in the hospital, but I scoured TB on my breaks and lunches at work from my phone trying to keep up with what was going on.
You are one of the bravest women I "know" and I spent many a night worrying about you after A was born. You may be unsure of what exactly happened that made you stop bleeding suddenly, but just know this: it was love. From Nate. From L & E. From Little A who felt her mama all those rooms away. From your mom and dad. From your ILs. From us. All of us were behind you and I am so, so, SO glad that you pulled through. Little Alessa will be home before you know it and you'll all be one happy family!
Love you, Nat. Your story hits home in a lot of ways, but my goodness, I still sit here in awe of you. I don't think I've ever prayed for a Bumpie as much as I've prayed for you and your family. My heart just broke for you when I found out you had HELLP and the abruption.
Keep your letters for your children in a special place for them. I wrote one for Samuel when I developed PIH with Elijah and was convinced we were headed down the same road again--I threw mine away and regret it.
