Tim McGraw - hands down the best concert ever!

I've also been to Keith Urban and another country singer who I forget at the moment, I can see him in my head just can't think of his name.  That concert was not so hot...

You just reminded me that I've been to a John Michael Montgomery "concert." He was so trashed that he almost fell off the stage when he bent down to pick up his guitar and couldn't remember the words to "Sold." He literally held the microphone out to the crowd for over half of the song. We stayed for 4 songs. It was more than a train wreck, it wasn't even entertaining. We didn't even get our money back. He checked into rehab the next day.

There may be more, my brains fried. Can you tell the kind of music we like in this house?

  • I can't remember all of them, but here's a few...

In my younger days New Kids on the Block, Paula Abdul, Milli Vanilli (I didn't know they were lip-sinking), Stever Miller Band.

Not as many recently, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews

We actually have U2 tickets for July 26, 2011 (10 days after my due date). The tickets went on sale in October, obviously bf I knew I was pregnant and my SIL really wanted to go, so we all bought tickets. Who knows if I'm going to be able to go. We'll see.

  • Um, ever??  I couldn't even count.  The big ones festivals I do every year are SXSW, ACL, and the Outlands.  (My best friend is in Austin and my parents live in the Bay area.)  I guess having a little one will change that though... :(

  • NKOTB

Woodstock 99 - Way too many bands to mention

    Eminem

Blink 182 - worst concert I've ever been to. Thank God the tickets were free.

Jimmy Buffet - we get free tickets every year.

    Horde Fest 95,96,97 (and I think 98)

    Leonard Skynard

    Lenny Kravitz

Neil Young & Crazy Horse (twice)

    The Dead

    Metallica

    Rusted Root

DH isn't into music as much as I am and he can't justify the ticket costs. So I haven't been to a concert since we started dating.

    I want to see

    Cold Play

    The Killers

    Pink

    Muse

Bon Jovi (not sure how I've managed to miss them)

    Vampire Weekend

    Franz Ferdinand

    Jack Johnson
