I have loved the name Pearl for years. DH thinks that anyone and everyone who hears it will think of the Will Ferrel video.

What Will Ferrel video?

I love the name Pearl. I think it's lovely and antiquey and absolutely gorgeous. I do't think of the Will Ferrel video because I'm not even sure what that is supposed to refer to. Not to mention, that makes it absolutely next to nil chance that anybody in her generation will know about this video your hubby is referring to.

I might just Google this one... Pearl + Will Ferrel + video? I don't know what that means.

I have never seen or heard of the video, but must say Pearl is not my style at all. I have a friend IRL that used Pearl as he DDs mn because her DH wanted to, and to this day regrets it...her DD is now 10.

I had seen the video before, but didn't remember that her name was Pearl.

When PP mentioned the video, I didn't even know what she was talking about. Then I followed the link, and remembered I had seen it before. So obviously it didn't make a huge impression on me, eventhough it was funny.

I don't think I've ever seen that video because I have no idea what you're talking about. When I think of Pearl I think of the Scarlet Letter. I like the name!
