With all this talk about what is and isn't tacky I figured it should have a post.

List the things that are tacky-tasteless- classless- Trashy here.........

-Smoking

-throwing yourself a party

-to-tight clothes

-bad hair dye, ex: BIG roots, blond on top brown underneath....colors (pink blue etc) unless your a teenager.

-having children back to back with no money, house or job.

Have you noticed the ones who think it's rude or pointless to point out grammar/spelling mistakes are usually the culprits anyway?

sorry, i dont care that much about my grammar (note your teachings) ...... I guess that makes me tacky? If so, still not a big deal to me.....

Of course i finished grade school, and college, i just dont dont feel like taking my time to type on this bump board..... its for amusment not a job..... Im not really trying to impress anyone, just fill some work time

Sorry, I just never thought poor grammar on a internet board as a thing that is tacky...... or trashy.... Its not at the top of my list. I was talking about real life. I guess if we were talking about what is "BOARD" tacky and annoying than of course i understand your perspective.

I've said a billion times that i have poor grammer and spelling, I honestly dont care that much, im mostly just amusing myself and wasting time at work. I dont feel like running spell checks and doing extra work to please people on here, i just want to talk.

I understand quiet a few ladies on here are "grammar sensitive", and I honestly apoligize to them(i do all the time). I guess if thats all you can flame me for, and if it makes you feel superior go for it..... just pretty laughable to me.

Throwing your own birthday parties (especially big 3-0 parties with all the bells and whistles)- I cringe at this!

Not sure if it is considered "tacky," but not sending out thank you notes for a gift (baby showers and weddings for the most part).

Dressing like an 18 year old when you're over 40.

Speaking, writing, and typing like an uneducated moron IS trashy. Why would you not want to present yourself as an intelligent, educated individual? It makes absolutely no sense to me.

I guess I am pretty lucky. Other than knowing a couple of people who smoke, I don't know anyone who does the other things. I think they are tacky, but usually the people doing them do not have the good sense to know that. I guess I can't really fault them.

Grammar and writing aren't my strong points. I'm not arguing that they are. Like i said already, this is a place for me to unwind and have fun. If i wanted to be harassed about grammar I'd go to english class. I don't think its fair for you to pass judgment on people who arent excellent spellers and grammar pros.

It's not really fun to point out what makes a person "tacky." My personal opinion is that your spelling and grammar needs a lot of work and make you sound extremely uneducated. Who are you to point out the fault of others when your writing capabilities are at an elementary school level?
