Please say yes!!! I'm 6 weeks and I'm so tired of being hungry all the time...No matter what I eat I'm NEVER full.....Will I start to feel normal again in 2nd Tri?
Once the baby's larger, you'll find that you get full quickly, but then you're hungry again soon after. Get used to eating lots of small meals and snacks!
For me it did subside a bit actually. First trimester was insatiable hunger which I still have now but not as often. I can go 4 hours without food and not eat everything in site. Funny though, nothing compares to the hunger I felt while nursing. I had never been so hungry in my entire life.

HAHA... uhh, no. I eat like a freakin pig.... in fact, I am starting to out-eat my DH, which NEVER happened pre-pregnancy. I am pretty good with breakfast, lunch, and some healthy snacks throughout the day. But by the time I get home around 4pm I am already cooking up dinner (I know, dinner at 4?). Then, I am usually hungry again later on and snack some more... I am pretty much always eating something.
all these stories made me laugh...except the poor mom to be with ms....I hope you get over that soon....Yeah this hunger is something else.I think that's where all my money goes...I will eat a snack before going to shower and get dressed for bed and by the time I lay down GRRRROOOOWLL...lol!! I'm up and at it again....***sigh*** time for my snack!
I woke up to pee at 3 am last night and made the decision mid stream that I needed to eat, NOW. I went down stairs and stuffed my face with left over corn on the cob, which I covered in heated up gravy. DH thought it was hilarious, but I honestly eat like a horse, and all the time.
Last time it didn't, this time it has. I do eat more often, but I eat smaller meals. Good luck to you either way. Once I had the baby, I went back to eating the normal amount.
I was ravenous in the first trimester. I still have a good healthy appetite now, but not nearly as much as then. It kind of varies by day--some days I am hungry all the time, other days not so much. Baby growth spurts or something? I don't know.

I was actually much hungrier in 1st tri than I have been in 2nd. Part of it was that the constant eating helped with the nausea (too well; I never actually threw up and I was eating nothing but junk). Part of it was only being able to stomach junk food, not healthy stuff.
In second tri, I'm eating like I was pre-pregnancy.
There have been a couple of times when DH had to drop off a "second lunch" for me at work because I ate my first as a morning snack!
I am worried about gaining too much (past the 25 lb mark already) and try to graze on my lunch all day. It is hard, though. Sipping water all day and eating low carb, higher protein helps.
For me it did a little, cause I was eating constantly and eating lots of carbs. Now, I can eat more fruits and healthier options, which actually keep me fuller longer than the bagel did. I also cant eat as much as I was eating in one meal, I went from 4 slices of pizza to 2!

I lost my appetite at 6 weeks (thats how I figured out I did not in fact have a stomach bug but a baby on the way!) And did not regain it until week 18ish. Then could not stop eating until week 21 and now I'm sick again. I think it's different for everyone, but I would give anything to be hungry again allllllll the time. I loved it!
It comes in spurts for me. I wasn't super hungry the first trimester. As for normal, i don't think we will ever feel normal. And why should we? There's a baby inside us! Maybe it's more of an adjusting to a new normal.
Re: DOES THE HUNGER LET UP IN 2ND TRI???
Nope!

Agreed. This is exactly how I am.

I expect third to be constant eating, however.
