It shot so far over my shoulder that not a single drop got on my work clothes or on him. Jax has been spitting up more since the GI upped his meds and started having me put oatmeal in his bottle instead of rice, which was constipating him. This morning we tried no oatmeal or rice and that clearly did not work. I think I just need to stop worrying about spit up while he is sick, its a losing battle with the nasal drip.
The GI also thought it would be a good idea to start solids which I was a little surprised about. She said to try apples and that went just ok last week. We did oatmeal and sweet potatoes last night and it was about the cutest thing ever. He screamed bloody murder when I took them away. DH said well he's Irish of course he likes the potatoes over apples...DH that would be white potatoes not sweet potatoes.
Re: I was super impressed by projectile vomit this morning
Wish the puke had missed me today!!
Sweet potatoes were Charlie's favorite things too!

Ugh, I dont miss the spit up. It was everywhere! DS didnt really have any other symptoms though so there was really nothing to treat and it didnt bother him. One day, you will be able to wear a shirt all day without ending up with spit up on it.
PS - He really didnt grow out of this until he was almost a year so while solids helped slow it down, it didnt cure it.
