It still stings that for me that I'm not on oct/sept 2011 board. I had such a promising chart, I was lurking "getting to know" the posters. It was all shot down with AF. I don't want to know about YOUR boards drama.

Had she been making post after post about things going on with her pregnancy, that would be different. Shiit gets cross posted all the time. Someone decided to get sand in the clit over it this time- that doesn't make HA the bad guy here).
This is not TTTC or IF. Trying for a couple months and crying because someone has a pregnancy ticker and posted on "your" board is asinine. Are you going to start banning people who already have kids from posting even if they are trying for #2+? Because they might have a pic of their child in their siggy.

I've been at this much longer than most of you and I'd be lying if I said there aren't days where I can't handle pregnant women and babies. You know what I do those days? I go read a book. I go in the backyard and play with my dogs. I play a video game. I putz around on the internet.

You know what I don't do? Hang around a site geared towards pregnancy and parenthood and expect everyone there to bend to my needs.

If you can't handle tickers and baby pictures- don't come to a site called the bump for christ's sake.

Find a support system outside of this message board.

Because when you pull shiit like this all it does is make you look foolish and gives more credence to the "bitter infertile" stereotype- and some of you aren't even infertile.

While it's fine and dandy for KU ladies to help and offer advice on TTGP, lately many posts have just as many KU posters as TTGP responses. Sure there are are several newbs to TTGP but there are also IFer's on here too. I don't get my panties in a knot over KU ladies over here but I have noticed a lot post here and very often. I do give them the side eye.

I lurk here constantly because I have an emotional tie to many ladies, and I'm still cheering them on from the sidelines, but I try to keep my comments to the Tuesday "Grads Check-In" threads or the types of threads Kdg mentioned out of respect. I do this because I understand board dynamic and expectations, and I respect the girls who post here regularly. If someone posts about a loss or a BFN and I feel close enough to them, I will send them a PM because do they really want to see my ticker or U/S pic in their BFN or loss thread? I would think not.

It certainly is a public message board and people can post what they want where they want for whatever reason they want, but anyone who has spent more than 5 minutes lurking here knows the general consensus about Grads or anyone who is pregnant posting regularly, especially starting threads or AWing their pregnancy in any way (outside of the check-in threads). You either respect this expectation or you don't, but do expect to be called out if you break it.

Anyway, as for the Oct 11 link, I'm sure it is all just MUD, but a trainwreck, nonetheless. Stick out tongue

I agree with all of this--I didn't see what Kdg said until you quoted it.

I personally do not feel comfortable commenting on the vents about not being KU, BFN's, etc--even though my heart was breaking for Sulfa after her BFN, I didn't think any words of sympathy I might have wanted to say to her would have been welcomed in that post, considering I have pregnancy tickers. I also stay away from the WFD posts, PIP posts, b/c I think those are meant for actually TTGP board "members". However, in this situation with HA--I think she never thought it would offend anyone, and was only posting it b/c it was a TTC question--and entirely laughable and stupid at that. Knowing this board dynamic--she probably thought ladies would love to wander over there and give her their .02.
