Let's pretend this board is for ladies who are "Trying To Get Pregnant."

While it is acceptable now for women who are KU (grads or not) to post on a thread, it hasn't always been that way. This is like posting on Babies 0-3 months, when, in fact, you don't have a child 0-3 months.

But what if my baby just turned 4 months old and I still know all the ladies who have babies who are 2 months old? It seems kind of silly to me to be banned from posting on a board where you still have a lot of "friends" just because you graduated from that board.  Again, I don't feel strongly one way or the other, I just truly don't understand what the big deal is.

I never said someone was banned.

If you were friends with someone, you'd either page them or comment in their post. Not start a thread about your child.

Because trying to get pregnant is very hard, and emotional. Somedays I feel great but some days I feel horrible. and this is a trying to get pregnant board.  There are lots of emotions going on, and I think grads should understand that and try to respect it.

I don't understand what the big deal is with TTGP grads starting a post honestly. If the grad OP is someone that many on the board are familiar with and has something interesting to post, then who cares if she is pregnant or not?

People on TTGP often direct those who have pregnancy related questions to 1st Tri despite the poster not being pregnant and no one (either on TTGP or on 1st Tri) care about that. 

Eh, I don't have a strong opinion either way, it's just a weird thing (IMO) that I don't quite understand. Feel free to let me know why it is such a big deal.

 

I think it's rude to make a post about a post on a board that some ladies here are still a little sore about not making it on. I don't want to know what is going on on the pg boards, honestly. If I did, I would go lurk myself. I just feel it is rude. That is my opinion, and it may not be shared. But, when I get my BFP, I won't be coming here to share about whatever board I make it to. I wouldn't want to make it look  like I was rubbing it in anyone else's face.

I think it depends on the topic of their post.  For this post in particular, I don't see what the big deal is.  It seems like the "Wipe Out" lady posted on all these random and inappropriate boards a silly post like we sometimes get here from newbies.  It gave me a kick for the night!  I still can't believe she posted on TTCAL.

I get what you're saying, but it's not like the post that HA shared had anything to do with being KU.  It's not HA's fault that the OP posted on that board instead of TTGP.  The OP's question was essentially about TTC, so it's relevant to this board.

It still stings that for me that I'm not on oct/sept 2011 board. I had such a promising chart, I was lurking "getting to know" the posters. It was all shot down with AF. I don't want to know about YOUR boards drama.

Why don't you go lurk on TIP (since we ALL know you love that board) and bring us back something juicy that doesn't sting so fricken bad. 

 

ETA: It would be like me AWing DS newborn photos and my mat photos.  But I am considerate, I don't even like talking about DS on this board unless I need advice from a TFAS mom

Had she been making post after post about things going on with her pregnancy, that would be different. Shiit gets cross posted all the time. Someone decided to get sand in the clit over it this time- that doesn't make HA the bad guy here).

This is not TTTC or IF. Trying for a couple months and crying because someone has a pregnancy ticker and posted on "your" board is asinine. Are you going to start banning people who already have kids from posting even if they are trying for #2+? Because they might have a pic of their child in their siggy.

 

While it's fine and dandy for KU ladies to help and offer advice on TTGP, lately many posts have just as many KU posters as TTGP responses. Sure there are are several newbs to TTGP but there are also IFer's on here too. I don't get my panties in a knot over KU ladies over here but I have noticed a lot post here and very often. I do give them the side eye.
