I have craved for weeks ranch dressing. I eat a salad everyday at lunch, and always put ranch on it. Just now I was eating my salad when the dressing tasted different, and every bite I took, I felt more and more ill.
I did check the expiration date on the bottle, but it's still good.
Wow. I have never heard of a craving turning into an aversion before.
I wasnt craving it before but I also had an aversion to Ranch dressing. I made a salad a couple of weeks ago, put ranch on it and then took one bite. I got nauseated and threw the whole thing out and made a salad without dressing. Now I'm eating salads with no dressing- bland is working for me now.
Hmm...interesting. I'm sure it's possible! I was drinking apple juice this morning and did the same thing though - I thought it smelled funny and looked at the expiration date and I was like, hmm...nope. Oddly it tasted just fine - it was just the smell.

This has happened to me a bunch. I willl be craving something, and so I will stock up on it (because I am just happy to finally have something to eat), and then in a few days the thought of it makes me sick, so it goes to waste (or DH is stuck eating it...lol).
I guess if the baby changes, then it does make sense that your cravings/aversion would change a bit too. It's just weird that I have loved it for weeks now, but it taste gross today.
Makes me wish I could just buy small samples of dressing!
This happens to me a lot. I'll sit down to eat something I've been craving, enjoy a few bites, and then halfway through I'm suddenly disgusted by it. It's crazy! I've had so many half-eaten meals.

I tend to crave something - ei: potato skins - eat them, then the next time I see them I get so sick to my stomach. Seriously, just typing that has turned my stomach. Things taste good once and then I want nothing to do with them. They tend to be processed frozen food kind of stuff - the stuff I hardly ever buy and we hardly ever eat. My freezer is packed right now.

It's Ranch dressing!!!! omg, same thing happend to me. I made dinner one night and had to have a salad with ranch. The first bite I took I threw up in my mouth a little bit and had to go lay down.
Ranch dressing is a fickle friend.

Yep! I think DH is wondering why I keep stocking up on things and then not eating them... In week 7, veggies with real ranch (not the low fat that we usually have) sounded SO good. But by early week 8, it sounded gross. So I had a fridge full of nicely stored, cut-up veggies that went bad. Also has happened with sour candies, some fruits (blueberries), and a few other things. Fickle babies, I suppose!

At about six weeks along, anything that I could smell or taste turned into an aversion. Even water.
Thank god for IVs!
