Sorry I am super late to check in this week.Today is 10 dpIUI. Friday I had my progesterone blood work and it was 29.1. They were all really happy about that. My beta is on January 31st since they don't do betas on weekends. I'll probably test sunday though if AF doesn't come. My fingers are crossed so tight I'm loosing circulation!
QOTW: We have 2 pretty awesome dogs!
I am 9dpIUI.. had my progesterone level checked Saturday and I think the result was 26 and my beta is also Jan 31st!! GL to both of us!! Haha, Im a nut and started HPT today. I cant deal with the suspense!! Its too much!
I just started posting on this board this past week or two.
1)
What is your name (if you want to share)? JH
2)
When did you start TTC? Fall 2009
3)
What is your diagnosis, if you have one? I have unexplained infertility. A negative workup, my husband also had a neg workup.
4)
What treatments have you done? I am currently on my 3rd cycle of IUI with Clomid and Ovidrel. I respond so well to the clomid and my husbands sperm is always excellent.. hopefully we have luck this month!
This board is a great resource of information and support. GL to everyone! Haha, Im still trying to figure out the abbreviations!
Updates:
This is my last unmedicated cycle. I did ovulate on day 22. I met with my RE and he perscribed me clomid which I will start when I get my period which will be in a little less than 2 weeks. He said it was a good response to the metformin that I am actually ovulating but that its late in the cycle and not consistent.
QOTW: AW your pets!! What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them? If you don?t have a pet, what would you get?
We have two cats named Rocky and Princess. I love both of them especially when they can sense if I am upset and they come cuddle with me!!

Update: I went in Sunday for CD3 blood work and u/s. Everything looks great I start clomid tomorrow. I asked the nurse about upping my clomid dose but I got a dirty look, than a big smile and she said that they feel I?m responding great to the meds but if I wanted to be on the front cover of a magazine than she'll asked the doctor if he would up it. Last cycle I only had one follicle on Day12 at 16 and 2 or 3 at 11.So instead of having my next u/s on Day12 I decided to wait until I surge to see how many follicles I have closer to O. So here goes lucky IUI #3. It?s also cycle #24 I just can?t believe it?s been two years. Sigh?..
QOTW: Jessie (yellow lab) She was our first dog. She has an nasty attitude sometimes but I love her to death. She is also spoiled rotten. all my dogs are spoiled.
Abbie (chocolate lab) She was our second dog. I just love her personally she is a very loving dog. She is madly in love with my husband we fight over him all the time. She always wins.
Nikki (not sure what she is) We inherited this dog. DH's great uncle died this past spring. He only lived a few streets away from us and we took care of him after his wife pasted away. His boys didn't want anything to do with the dog so we took her. She's a great dog, barks a little too much but she is a very loving dog.

Update - just had an HSG done today and although it was the most painful test I've had thus far, my tubes are clear! Thank God for that! Tomorrow morning we will be making arrangements to move to the other doctor within the one RE office in town as we are not meshing well with the one I have been seeing for the past three months. We'll see if the other RE wants to stick with the plan we have in place for the next month and go from there.
We have two miniature schnauzers. Malachi is 6 and Bella is 2. They are so funny to watch as they love to wrestle with each other. I love that they are both snuggle bunnies! Oh and as you can see from Bella's photo before, I also love that I can take hilarious pictures of them.
No updates here. On a new cycle and waiting for our RE appointment next Friday.
Buuut, I couldn't help but want to post for the QOTW: my sweet little Lucy. She's an 8 year old yellow Labrador. She's currently sleeping on top of my feet, and snoring. I love her so much. She will probably have her world rocked when our phantom LO arrives. She is so spoiled and rules the roost. Kinda makes me sad how I think it will affect her but hopefully she'll adjust well.
Starting new injectable cycle today after my appt with RE. Will keep you posted.
QOTW: I am so in love with my dog Rocky. He is a noe year old black & white Texas Heeler (Australian Shephard/Queensland Heeler mix). He has only one eye because when we first got him, our bully cat Piggy scratched him in the eye. Despite weeks of extensive and expensive treatments, his eye had to be removed due to traumatic glaucoma. My poor baby! After I went through all of that with him, now we are closer than any animal I've ever had. I think it makes him special, and gives him character. He certainly doesn't know the difference! He is a happy, spoiled dog! Pic of Rocky in my siggy below.
