Trouble TTC

**3T Weekly Check-In**

**Hello Ladies!! I just want to let you all know that I appreciate you all and your words of appreciation to me each week on the check in really makes my day! I?m so glad we have such a great bunch of ladies on here that really cares what others are going through. You ladies are the best!!

I want to do a quick shout out to my IRL friend S who may be doing some lurking? when you feel comfortable to do an intro, know these ladies are so awesome and will help you get through your IF just like they have been here for me these past years**

If you would like to be added, please answer these questions in a post below:

1) What is your name (if you want to share)?

2) When did you start TTC?

3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one?

4) What treatments have you done?

If any information I have listed needs changed or if you want anything added or if you were previously listed in the ?No Diagnosis Yet? section and now have one, please be sure to let me know so I can update. Good luck, everyone!!

** We?ve got some 3Ters pursuing adoption so I?ve added a section for that.  Please let me know if you would like to be added.**

QOTW: AW your pets!! What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them? If you don?t have a pet, what would you get?

Re: **3T Weekly Check-In**

  • Not really any updates...still waiting to O.

QOTW: We have two turtles and then I had two dogs when I lived at home (they are my family's dogs)

Mine and DH's turtles are Squirt and Tibey. Squirt likes to bite at our fingers when we put them up to the aquarium. Tibey is pretty chill. They really are so cute though.

Velvet and Emmy are the dogs at my mom's house. They are both so sweet and love to cuddle up next to us on the couch. They jump up on me and attack me with kisses whenever I go over to my mom's, which I'm about to now. Smile

Have a great Sunday evening, ladies, and I hope the upcoming week is nice to you all!!

  • Update:  Still on a break.  DH is trying to quit smoking, and it has been pretty rough.

QOTW:  Our cat's name is Lily, she is 4.  She has never missed a night of sleeping by me.  Our dog's name is Kable.  He is 14 months and is a handful.  I think my favorite thing is that as soon as we walk in the door, he immediately runs to find us a toy to give us as a gift.  It is so funny when he can't find one and just wanders around the house until he has one to give us.

  • Hi ladies, I just joined this board this week.

We have been trying since April of 2010.

We are just starting testing so no diagnosis or treatment yet.

We have two dogs.... I love animals.   I think I would have one of everything if possible minus snakes;-).

  • No updates for me.  Still waiting for AF so that I can start retesting.

QOTW:  We have three cats.  Mine is a little Russian Blue named Trouble.  She is 16 years old and weighs about 6 pounds.  She is a funny cat.  She is very skittish, but she loves to cuddle and she is still very playful.  The other two are MH's cats.  They are 12 year old, brother/sister brown tabbies.  The boy's named Bud and is 18.5 pounds.  The girl is Mich and is 15 pounds.  They are both sweet except they aren't always nice to my little girl.

    1) What is your name (if you want to share)? Kim

    3) What is your diagnosis, if you have one? Low progesterone level, not ovulating

  • Update:  Rec'd my path report from my lap and hysto.  Looks like I have mild inflammation and an infection in my UTE.  I am on antibiotics for another week and a half.  So I am on a forced break cycle until I meet with my RE in March for another biopsy and discuss further treatment plans and options.  So in the mean time we will TTC naturally.

QOTW:  we have 1 doggy named Bobby.  What I love most about him is that he is very human-like.  My DH also taught him how to low crawl which is pretty cool

  • Papps ((hugs)) sorry about your loss Sad

Zook, thank you for your hard work on the weekly check-ins, it is appreciated!

Update:  My first IUI is tomorrow morning at 11am.  I have 1 mature follie at 25 and I have another follie that may mature (it was at 17 on Saturday), both located on the left.

QOTW: We have 2 dogs Oscar & Zion both are cocker-and-poodle mix.  DH & I each had one before we met.  I have 2 favorite things about my doggies; Oscar is pudgy and Zion is tall and skinny so Oscar will perch up on Zions back and try to get a ride, it's the funniest thing ever!

ETA: I guess the official breed name of my mutts is offensive to the bump :)

  • Hi Zook- Thanks again for posting this. We appreciate your hard work!!

Papps- so sorry about your kitty. (((hugs)))

Update: Went Saturday for CD3 u/s and b/w. The Tech said the u/s was normal, but said my nurse would call Monday with specifics and b/w results. My only concern is my TSH levels. I'm sure they are probably high. Huh? My HSG is scheduled for Friday and then our IVF consult is 2/4.

I had a great time at the DC GTG and got to meet some great Bumpies Big Smile

QOTW: I have one kitty baby named Boo Kitty. He is so sweet and chatty and an excellent snuggler.

  • Nothing new to report - I should know by this weekend if I am KU.  So I'll be POAS all week....

QOTW:  I have a dog (Cockapoo) named Rushford (after where my husband and I met).  I am allergic to cats and dogs - which is one of the reasons we got the cockapoo.  I never wanted a dog my entire life (I spent my entire childhood deathly afraid of them) - and now I can't imagine my life without him.  He is so well behaved and just loves cuddling with us.  I'm not sure what I would do if we didn't have him during the time we are dealing with IF.  I can't even imagine my life without him - that is how much I love him.  :)

We also have a corn snake and I have a goldfish at work (who is going on 4 years old)!

QOTW:  We don't have any pets.  We have talked about getting a cat, but haven't yet.  DH said we could, just haven't done it.

  • Update: Getting my stupid cyst aspirated tomorrow and hopefully starting stims for IVF later this week!  So ready to get this show on the road!

QOTW:  We have 3 adorable kitties:)  Simba is an orange and white tabby and he's the loudest of the bunch.  He's the one that makes us get them food when they've run out while the other kitties sit at the bowl waiting.  Kovu and Kiara are brother and sister maincoon kitties.  We got them when they were 8 weeks old and we had no idea that they were long haired or that they'd grow up to be so huge!  Kiara is our little princess and she'll only let you pet her once she's deemed that you smell ok.  She's a daddy's girl.  Kovu is our motorboat.  He's such a loud purrer.  He forgets where we are in the house sometimes so he meow's until we answer him and then he'll come around to snuggle.  They all have such different personalities and we love it!  They all snuggle and give kisses.  I can't imagine not having them.

Papps, I'm so sorry about your leo. ((((hugs)))

  • Love my zook for doing this update every week!!!  You are awesome!!!

Update:  I think I have finally O'd!!!  Yay!!  I got + OPK's Friday and Saturday and I had a temp jump today.  I will be going in on Wednesday for a progesterone check and then they will tell me when to start the lupron.  As of now, my ER is estimated to be sometime the week of February 14th.  Eeek!!!

QOTW:  Currently, we have 3 cats and 1 dog, we had a 4th cat, but we had to put her to sleep right after Thanksgiving.  When we got together, DH had 2 cats and the dog and I had two cats, so that's how we ended up with so many.  My cats are Milo and Pumpkin, DH's are Kramer and Nala (the one who passed).  Our dog's name is Cody (in siggy).

What I love about them - Cody is just a total snuggle bug - he loves to curl up and sleep with us.  The cats are funny, they are always trying to get into things.  Kramer has a "lovey" - a cloth belt that he drags around and meows at.  It's hilarious.

  • DH met with the urologist this past Monday. All the bloodtests (LH, FSH, Prolactin, Testosterone) came back normal. Waiting for SA and semen fructose results, which should be back Monday or Tuesday and then we will meet with the urologist to figure out a plan or for more testing.

DH and I are both currently trying to lose weight to be as healthy as possible since we will most likely have to do IVF

QOTW: We have a dog named Lily. She is a beagle/CKC mix. She is our baby! She is so spoiled and loves snuggling. And she is so stinking cute!

  • Hi to Zookie and all my 3T friends. Zook - you truly rock for keeping up with all our 3T  trials and tribulations.

No real updates here. We are doing Femara+Trigger and TI again. We are saving up money for our injects and IUI cycles. I have my monitoring appointment on Tuesday.

    QOTW:

We have one turtle named Half Pint. We have a 20 year old American Quarter Horse, named Dandee and a 3 year old Yorkie named Delylah. I must give some love to my Lab-Husky mix, Lilly who passed away last February. She lived a long and happy life.

My Yorkie is such a sweetie. She is my shadow when I'm home. She loves us unconditionally.

  • Big (((hugs))) to Zookie for doing this!

Update:  We had our ET on Friday, and transferred two 6 cell embryos and one 5 cell.  Beta is next Monday.  Needless to say, it's going very slowly.  We should find out tomorrow whether we can freeze any of the other four that fertilized.

QOTW:  See my siggy for a pic of our 12 year old blue weimeraner, Bella.  She is our sweet little love.  I think the most endearing thing about her is how she grabs our clothes to snuggle with them.  She doesn't hurt them or anything, just lies with them.  The funniest thing is how sneaky she is about it!  Neither DH or I have ever seen her actually grab the clothes.  Also, she's very sensitive - whenever I am feeling sad or tense about something, she always comes to cuddle with me.

QOTW: AW your pets!! What are their names and what is your favorite thing about them? If you don?t have a pet, what would you get? My boys are in my siggy, Brady & Pesky. My favorite thing about them is their unconditional love and they know just when I need to cuddle:)

  • No updates here.  Just taking bcp's for my upcoming ivf.  Hopefully should here from the nurse this week to go over my calendar.  Right now I only have tenative dates.

QOTW:  We have one cat that is 8yrs.  His name is Lenny.  MH got him when he was dating another girl and they named him together.  I wish it wasn't that way, but he can be a really sweet cat sometimes and he has been ours longer than he was with the ex.

  • Update: At my last follie check, I had 2 follies on the left (both 10mm) and 2 follies on the right (both 9mm). I go back in for another follie check tomorrow. I'm really hoping that they are mature enough to trigger tomorrow night. If all 4 grew, this will be my first cycle with more than one follicle, so I'm really hopeful this time!

QOTW: I have a cat and dog. My cat's name is Cool and she just turned 14. She is a rescue cat and I love her to piecesf. She doesn't really like anyone to pick her up, except for me. The dog is Sylar and he is 1yr 3mos. He wants to play with Cool, but she will have nothing to do with him! He is a mix and we were told the dad was a beagle, but we are thinking his dad was a Jack Russell.

  • I have my 2nd IUI on Thursday, so now it's just a waiting game.  Beta is the 3rd which is 3 days before my birthday.

QOTW:  We have two cats.  Simon, almost 4, is a brown tabby and he's a mama's boy.  He's quite talkative when he wants something.  Leo, 1 1/2, is an orange tabby and is very fluffy.  I call him Luuuuuucifer because he's a spawn of the devil.  Anything you don't want him to do, or he's not supposed to do, he does it.  He's constantly in the garbages and unrolling toilet paper.  I joke that Simon was our perfect child, so we decided to have another and got stuck with the devil cat.  I always tell him I'm going to sell him.  His saving grace is that he's cute and plays fetch, video on my blog.

He loves to go hiking and snow shoeing with us, and when we lived in San Diego he *loved* his weekly trips to Dog Beach. He is an excellent pointer (he points at birds, shadows, squirrels, etc) but neither DH nor I are hunters, so he doesn't get to utilize his natrual talents. He seems ok with that; as long as we let him sit on the couch with us to watch movies, he's a happy dog.

QOTW: We have one sweet puppy who is our baby! We love her to pieces! She is great with kids so we know she will love our real children when we have them! :)

  • Sorry I am super late to check in this week.Today is 10 dpIUI. Friday I had my progesterone blood work and it was 29.1. They were all really happy about that. • I finally made it to one of these.  It has been a long time.

Update:  Still on BCPs for IVF#3.  I went for my baseline today and will find out later if I am able to stop taking them.  If so, I will start stims on Friday.

QOTW:  I have a German Shepherd named Marsell.  I love how he just randomly comes up to you, puts his paw out and then gives you kisses.  Or when he decides he is a lap dog (He ways 80 lbs.).  I also have a Yorkie names Abigail.  I love how she cuddles with me at night or on the couch.  Also, we have a parrot named Charlie.  I love his sweet hellos.

  • Feel silly with my non-update updates but here goes... still two months away from starting my first IUI cycle but just paid off my car after five years Woohoo so we'll have $490 a month more to pay for IF costs.  Based on cycle length I should start the IUI cycle on March 20th give or take a day.  :)

QOTD:  We don't have any furbabies :( I had a puppy that when I was working my career job it was too hard being gone from the house 10-12 hours a day.  Once I become a SAHM maybe we'll get another puppy, I don't really care what breed but I loved my pomerainian when I was growing up.

  • Sorry im so late.

Update: Not much. Finishing Provera/Premarin on Thursday, IVF consult today and nutritionist appointment on Wednesday. I am hoping to drop some weight before the IVF in April.

QOTW: I had a chinese dwarf hamster but we had to put her to sleep a few years ago and based on my reaction, DH wont let me get another one :( We have some fishes, thats about it. DH says we can't get a dog until we have kids and we are not in agreement on the type of dog. Both of us are allergic to cats, though i love to cuddle with them (before my airways close up and my eyes swell shut!)

  • I'm on CD3...which means I start my BCPs tonight.  I'm getting really freaked out.  I have to call the RE nurses and get set up for my protocol appointment.  Six weeks!

QOTW:  I have three furries.  My oldest, Mister Magoo, is a Malamute/Chow mix  who is 4 1/2 years old.  He is awesome.  So sweet and easy going.  My middle, Mistress Jezabel, is a full blue Chow who is almost 3.  She is my baby bully.  Tries to act tough while running to hide behind me :)  And then there is Master Jinx, my not yet 1 year old Seal Point Siamese.  And all 10 lbs. of him runs that house.  He is by far the alpha and keeps those dogs in line.  It's hilarious.

  • Thanks Zook for doing this week!! I appreciate it :)

Update: I am waiting for AF. I spotted a little Saturday and Sunday. It looks like she may show today. I do not know why she is taking so long, Ive tested again yesterday just to be sure BFN. Once I am confirmed CD1 I will go in for baseline for IUI#3 with injects. Cant wait to start treatment again.

QOTW: My dog I grew up with we just had to put to sleep 2 weeks ago. Its been really hard and harder on my parents since they lived w/ him. Eventually when we have a house I want to get a dog.

  • Update: Wednesday is my HSG. I'm looking forward to being done with that and getting on with things. I'm praying nothing goes wrong (since my SHG was clear last year, I'm guessing things will still be fine now). Hopefully we're looking at starting our first IUI cycle in about two more weeks!!

QOTW: We have 3 adorable kitties!! We have Hobie, our 10-year-old MaineCoon Cat, Coal (aka The Puma) is our 7-year-old black cat and Morley is our 5-year-old orange tiger.  They are our world and we love them to pieces.

  • I'm always late to these check-ins since I don't weekend-bump much ;)

First I want to say I am so sorry to those who have lost pets recently.  Big hugs to you all.

Update: I am still waiting for a call back to confirm that we will be moving to IUI this cycle. If I haven't heard from them by noon I'll be calling again :)

Pets: We actually have 4 pups.  2 pugs (in my siggy - Eugenie on the left and Eudora on the right).  Our big dogs are more my husbands but I love them too.  Einstein is a very old Golden and Kinley is a Golden/Pyranese mix.  She is a big white ball of love.
