I still haven't felt the baby move!

... at least I don't think so....   I thought I did once, but I never felt it again, so I guess it wasn't.  But the OB keeps hearing a heartbeat so I guess everything it ok, right?  I just read a post on one of the tri boards and she was feeling movement at 16 weeks.   Tell me not to stress about this, please! :)

    16 weeks seems early to me, but everyone is different.  i have only just started this past week feeling a few punches/kicks here and there, but nothing consistent.

    I think you are ok.  I have a friend who is 23 weeks and still hasn't felt it.  From what I read, you may or may not feel what they call quickening between 16-20 weeks and possibly not movement until 22.

    Don't worry!  I never felt flutters or popcorn really -- went straight to kicks or thumps.  Plus, if you have an anterior placenta, it is harder to feel anything.

    I think it's normal not to feel the baby until up to 24weeks.  I felt him early and I was totally shocked.

    Ask your dr if you're concerned about it but my guess would be you have an anterior placenta so you can't feel as well. 

    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     I have an anterior placenta and I just started feeling him this week.  I know exactly how you feel, I was definitely feeling "behind" but I bet it will happen any day now for you!

    I *thought* I felt baby move at 18 weeks...but really I didn't feel anything until closer to 22/23 weeks.  I really wouldn't be worried, I know easier said than done...

    My OB told me that for a first pregnancy they don't expect you to absolutely feel movement until 24 weeks. Try not to worry!

    Yeah, with my first I didn't feel her till about 23 weeks or so.  And I'm sure when you do, that little baby will definitely make up for lost time!!

    I started to feel movement at 22-23 weeks but i didn't realize it was movement until my ob woke up the baby at the appointment  with the doppler and got her moving around  he pointed out when she was moving and i really paid attention to when we heard it and what i felt once i reconized what it was it was easier to point out.

    I recently had two people tell me (one was a friend and one was my  OB nurse), that they didn't feel movement till 22.5 weeks. I'm sure everything is fine!

    I started feeling regular movement (like kicks down low) at exactly 22 weeks and they haven't stopped since!  What I thought I was feeling before was probably gas :).  Any day now, you'll see!
