Another Xmas present post: What r u getting DH?

I know many of you aren't exchanging gifts this year, but for those that are what are you getting DH? I won't spend tons on him because we spend mainly on the boys, plus with the new baby coming in January it just doesn't seem practical. But I'd like to get him one or two nice things. So far I've gotten him some stocking stuffers, like gloves, book, face warmer. I'm really just hoping to steal your ideas. Wink

I'm getting mine the new ipod nano 16 gb. It's what he's wanted since the latest generation of ipods came out. Then we always do stocking stuffers.

DH and I do like to buy nice things for each other. I'll probably get him a wool flannel shirt this year or cologne for the main gift. For little things, I've gotten him: licorice (I HATE IT, yuckyyuck), a long shoe horn for his dress shoes, silver earrings, and bikini briefs Wink

I am getting DH one of those massage chairs. He loves them. They have one on sale at Kohls right now for $80 and I have a 30% off. He will also get his yearly "comfortable" outfit, transformers, and stocking stuffers.

My DH is graduating from college this semester (YAY!!!!) and getting a full time job so I got him a 'big boy' pea coat to wear to work. I'm also going to get him a new digital camera since his old one broke.

I'm getting DH a 3 month 'beer of the month club' subscription, based off a rec from a friend who's SO loved it. For three months, they'll send him a case of beer with a variety of microbrews from all around (in other words, beer you can't always pick up at the liquor store). I was trying to think of something different, and this is what I came up with....I think he'll enjoy it!!

I got him a new laptop. He loves his computer, and his old one was definitely on its way out - overheating, running poorly, etc. He spends hours on the computer every day, so to be without it would be hard for him.

I'm a pushover though - I already gave it to him when his old laptop started acting up again the other night. He loves it.

No clue. We set a low budget so I'm leaning toward an autographed baseball. He's got some from pitchers in the 300 win club. I just want to make sure I'm not getting a bad autograph.

We're sticking to what we normally do...only spend $50 on each other. So far all I've gotten him are a couple of shirts. This may not seem like a big deal to you but my husband is 6'6" and real thin so finding shirts that are long enough for him and yet don't bellow out like a tent is hard to do. I think he's also going to get some cologne or something. And then there's stocking...which always has a DVD, candy, and other little odds and ends. We save up all year though for Christmas and Birthdays for the boys...(one has a Dec 23rd bday while the other's is in Jan).

The plan is to wait till he gets a bonus check in January (for getting someone hired) and get a Wii. I know he asked his mom, grandma and aunt (who always buy for us, even though we told them it's not at all necessary) that if they wanted to get us anything, just to get a visa gift card to go toward that. I am going to get him a body glove type thing (different brand I think) for his blackberry. It's only $25-30, but I know he really wants one. Other than that, we're just doing stocking stuffers, and we go with cheaper things like socks, underwear, candy, maybe a cd or something for that. We figured the Wii will be our present, and we are planning on getting Wii Fit as well.

DH and I skipped getting each other stuff the last two years. Since we get each other stuff year round we go out together at the mall and pick a little boy and girl from the angel tree and buy for them.

I wasn't going to spend a lot but then thought that it would be great for both of us if I gave him a small snowblower. We have a huge driveway and we've always shoveled it. I won't be up for that early this winter and who knows what LO will dictate in the morning when we're heading for work. A helpful gift that he'll flip for.

Dh lost the ipod nano I gave him last year for Christmas. He has issues with things falling out of his pockets, so I bought him the full size ipod this year and had it engraved with his name and number. I also got him a couple of dress shirts for work and the girls are giving him a new electric razor. Not too exciting, but DH will appreciate it.

Now that we have a house, DH wants a tool chest to put in the garage. Luckily he works at a hardware store = discount! The hard part will be getting it when he is not at work, and also not with me!

I got my DH a meeting and autograph with Steve Smith, WR fro NY Giants earlier in the week. I am buying him 2 flights towards a pilots license, games, books, clothes....a shirt that says DADD---Dad's against Daughters Dating:) and convinced his mom to get him PS3:) I do not know what else I will be getting him but that is what I have so far. May get his windows tinted or get auto car starter.
