I saw the name Kayler on a blog the other day and I can't seem to get it out of my head. We don't know what we are having and i want to have several names picked out for each sex. My husband isn't sure about it. It is growing on him, but he is afraid people will think it is wierd. What do you think? Be honest. Thank You

I think that Kayler might be the ugliest name I've heard on this board ? and I didn't think I would ever see anything I disliked more than Breklyn.
Seriously, this is a terrible name. As pp said, it looks like you took half a dozen trends, stirred them up together, and they spat out this awful name.

This. Sounds like the girl form of Kyler.
Kayler sounds made up and I really hate it.
Marie is WAY overused as a middle name.
(read it. you know you want to.)

I don't think that name is good on either sex, if it's even a real name.
It sounds the way my southern in-laws pronounce the work killer. As in, "that ole bull dawg wuz a reel kayler."

Um, ugly. It sounds like my grandmother from Georgia trying to say Kayla.
This.
It honestly does not sound feminine to me at all. Marie is a lovely name, Kay is okay, but a little filler-ish to me.
I would stop reading blogs for name inspiration
I really don't like it at all for several reasons:
1. It sounds made up and like you are trying to hard to be unique
2. It sounds like a boys name
3. Marie is a "giving up" middle name for me
This is EXACTLY what I thought of. It sounds like its Kayla, butchered with a terrible southern drawl. I don't like it at all. Kayla or Kaylee, however overused would be better.
