Remove bacon from package and cut the slab in half. Try to get it to room temp before using for easier rolling.
Take bread (about 12 slices) and cut off the crusts and slice into 3 rectangular pieces
Spread CC on bread (I use a frosting gun, makes it so much less messy and easier)
Place bacon on top of CC and roll 3 up like a cinn. bun. Use a tooth pick to hold shape.
Put in oven for 25-30 min at 350.
I promise if you make this, people will love it and ask for the recipe. You will thank me later, lol.

Brown 1 pck Jimmy Dean Sausage. Drain sausage on paper towels. Add back to pan 1 chopped onion and 1 diced bell pepper. Saute until soft.
Mix veggies with meat in a medium bowl.
Add to bowl 1/2 pck hidden valley ranch dressing mix, about 1/2 Cup mayo (I guess add more or less to taste) and 2 Cups shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
Spoon into wonton cups.
Wonton Cups:
Spray cupcake tin with Pam. Place 1 wonton wrapper in each cup. Bake at 350* for about 7 minutes (or until cups are formed but not browned). Remove and cool.
Place wonton cups filled with mixture on baking sheet. Bake @ 350* for about 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
Mix up some batter using a baking mix (pancake/biscuit mix) and put a teaspoon or so in each well. Whip up some eggs with cream (or whatever dairy you like and put on top of batter. Chop favorite quiche items and add a bit to each (I like chicken/apple sausage, cheese, bell pepper, and fresh chives if you've got them.) Bake at 350* - probably for 10-15 minutes, I don't remember, but it's pretty clear when they are done.
I've also added my favorite seasoning blend to either the eggs or the batter prior to cooking to kick up flavor (DH makes a mix of italian seasoning, garlic and onion powder, salt and pulverises it with a mortar and pestle.)
Top with a dab of sour cream and a sliver of avocado before serving. You can mix a bit of the Chipotle Tobasco sauce into the sour cream if you want a little kick. I made these one night (and made a ton) so we just ate them for dinner. YUM.
Thank you for this post. I am having an appetizer party this Saturday and was needing some inspiration, too.
So far I have:
Buffalo chicken dip
Chick Fil A nugget tray
Bacon-wrapped chestnuts
Sausage Dip
Onion Dip
Pigs in a Blanket
Meat/cheese tray
Seafood dip
I think I will try that bacon roll recipe (above) and I just remembered this cream cheese/pepper ball that I've made in the past that is to die for. I'm going to get peppermint bark from Costco and probably make a sweet treat of some sort, too. Ahhh, I need to get busy........
