I have some Thirsties diaper covers, and I want to try an alternative to prefolds. I saw Thirsties fab fitted diapers and they look nice, so I'm trying to find a small one. NOBODY sells them! I can only find them in large, and DD is only about 13-14 pounds, so we're months away from using the large. Do they suck? Is that why nobody's selling them? Is there another kind of velcro-type insert that can be used with a diaper cover?

Re: Is there a reason I can't find Thirsties Fab Fitted diapers?
Thanks! So you wouldn't recommend them (assuming they're not making changes to their absorbency)?
Not for an older baby. They just are not absorbent enough. I am holding on to my smalls for the next child because they seem to work for smaller babies. I recommend Monkey Snuggles or Goodmama fitteds, but they are snaps.
I'm still using them on my 9-month-old and they work fine as long as I put some extra layers inside the diaper. She's in a M and transitioning into a L.
