I've been spotting red for the past couple days. It's just a little bit, but enough that it's making me concerned. My nurse at the RE isn't concerned at all, she said it can be caused by the prometrium. But still... I haven't done anything else that would normally cause spotting (sex, lifting, pooping, etc.), so... I dunno.
Please tell me stories of red spotting with happy outcomes. I'm trying to remain positive, without being super hopeful. Difficult balance to maintain.
Re: Please tell me happy stories about red spotting that turned out ok
Hugs! I know how scary that is!
I went to a New Jersey ER on Thanksgiving morning for red spotting. I had been brown spotting for 4 days prior, and then it turned heavier and redder on Thursday morning.
Turns out, I had/have a SCH that is sitting on top of my cervix. A few days later, the spotting was gone. Just had an u/s this morning, and it's still there (the dr told me that I could expect more spotting from it), but smaller, so it looks like my body is absorbing it.
Could you go in for an U/S to see if there is anything that is causing it?

I had two episodes of unexplained bleeding (one I would have sworn was the end) and we're still trucking along at 23 weeks. It's so, so hard to not panic over bleeding:( I hope that all is well!!!

I haven't had any red spotting, but one of my best friends IRL had quite a few bleeding spells. They told her that her blood vessels downstairs were super sensitive, so if she walked a block down the road, she would start bleeding. Her LO is now 7 months old and doing great.
I hope you get some answers soon!
I had bright red spotting at around 6 weeks, so far so good. There was never a reason for spotting and I went to OB to make sure everything was ok.

I had red spotting around week eight caused by the progesterone/Lovenox combo. I hadn't done anything to cause it to happen either - i.e. sex or the like.
They did put me on pelvic rest at that time, and we found the previa then. It's since corrected. I also had some spotting last week - again, my blood vessels are thinned, there is a lot of pressure and I had to strain a little for a BM.
I know, it's not great and not encouraging to see. I hope everything is okay.
Okay, I'll tell you my happy story. With my second pregnancy I spotted brown and then red almost every day from 6 to 8 weeks. I have a beautiful almost two-year-old daughter despite the spotting.
I'll be praying that everything is fine with your little one.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
