2 weeks after d and c

and I still got a + frer this morning :( How long does it take for a test to be negative??? Does the test have to be negative before I will ovualte again? TIA

    I really don't know the answer to your question but just wanted to say sorry that you saw that + test. I'm sure that wasn't easy to see.  I haven't even thought to take a test to see. Are you still having bleeding? You might want to call your doctor just to see if that is normal. Now I'm thinking I should take a test to see...

     It has been 4 weeks since mine, I keep feeling like AF is going to come but she hasn't showed yet.

    no bleeding...it stopped a couple of days ago. I really just want af to come. It so weird that we spend so much time praying for a BFP and for AF to stay away and now i'm praying for a BFN and for AF to come. Thanks for your kind words :)

    I know I was just thinking to myself that yesterday. I keep going to the bathroom hoping to see some spotting or something and for the last couple of months I was going to the bathroom praying to see nothing. Hopefully we will both get back to praying to see nothing soon!

    Ick! Seeing that positive must have been hard. It can take a while and it's such a weird thing to be hoping for. You may want to check in with your doctor and see if they want to follow your betas down for a while. Good luck!

    i had my D&C on October 28th.  i went in for a check up with my doctor on November 15th.  she didn't examine me... she just wanted to see how i was doing and talk to me and see if i had any questions.  she then sent me to the lab to get my blood drawn.  the next day, she called with the results and said my levels were right where they needed to be (i believe at a 10 and she wanted 0-10).

    she did say that the time it takes to get the hormone levels back to normal varies in everyone.  if i hadn't been at an acceptable level, i would have gone back and been tested in 2 weeks.

    i did just get AF on November 29th and let me just tell you... it sucked!  certainly made up for those few months that i went without it.

    according to my doctor, now that my levels are back to normal and i've had my visit from AF... my husband and i are good to try again... ONLY if we are emotionally ready.
