Progesterone...what a beast!

Holy hell! I started my progesterone injections and prometrium a few days ago and I have turned into a b*tch on wheels! Is this normal? This drug is the devil! 
Age 32, Diagnosed with Premature ovarian aging due to autoimmunity. AMH 1.17, E2 78, FSH 7.9 HSG-reveals tubal disease and apparent endometriosis DH's SA-normal Positive for thyroid antibodies, Crohn's disease 8/27/11-huge 58 mm cyst 1st IVF cycle canceled :( 9/20/11-2nd attempt at IVF cycle 1. Microdose Lupron Protocol 9/30-AF day 2 all clear! start Lupron 10 units 2x's/day 10/13-Egg retreival 10/16 transferred 2 embies! 10/30-BFP! Beta #1 685 11/1 Beta #2 1736 BabyFruit Ticker

    omg!  I was scheduled to do the shots, but at the last minute asked if I could switch to the Crinone progesterone suppository because I was so scared of the size of that needle....and I knew I would end up hating my husband! lol  I haven't noticed any side effects yet on the sup creme...it's only been 3 days though.

    TTC #1 since 3/10:
    DX: Me-PCOS, retroverted/ tilted ute - DH- MFI, DH-4 mo of Clomid therapy= no improvement. Weekly HCG injections.
    Me-34, DH-33
    HSG- unsuccessful, SHSG (dialated)-no blockages
    7/11-Clomid (unmonitored) BFN,
    #1 Fresh IVF 9/11: w/ ICSI & AH (only option): (1 transfered, 8BF) = BFN!!
    #2 FET: 2 transferred (2 6BF) 12/11 = BFFN!!
    Surprise + HPT on break! 2/12 Beta 1: 6 Beta 2: <5 = c/p ( RE had given me provera... So pretty sure this ruined everything)<BR> #3 Fresh IVF 3/12: w/ ICSI & AH (2 transfered 8BF & 7BF, 1 to freeze) = BFMFN!
    New RE 5/12
    6/14 Hysteroscopy
    #4 Fresh IVF 8/12: 5dt of 2 5AB blasts = BFN!... what else is new?!?
    New RE insists its a transfer issue, immunology checked & good
    #5 IVF FET 1/13 under anesthesia : Two 5 day blasts transferred
    + HPT!! Beta1: 2315 Beta2: 6442 Beta3: 31,061
    First u/s 1/30/13: Shows 1 healthy heartbeat!!

    Was he was right? I wasted 4 IVF's and the doctors were not getting the catheter in?!?

    I actually felt really hot all day and my face has a reddish look to it. All worth it though ladies! :)

    I hated the progestrone and I am NOT looking forward to the shots again. It gave me flu like symptoms with about a 100 temp the whole time I took it!! Every night I'd wake up and swear I was really getting the flu! GL!

    has anyone done the Progrsterone suppositories instead of injections?  My dr. offers it as an alternative and I'm considering it...
