I have had these names picked out before we got pregnant and my family is not crazy about them. My husband and I are less traditional than my family. So tell me what you think...Are my husband and I crazy?
Eh, they're NMS, but there's nothing wrong with them. They're both solid names, spelled correctly, and flow nicely together.
And don't worry about your family---they'll love the name once an adorable baby is attached to it.
This is very important in a name! Now if you were naming your kids Tatym S'Vannuh and Trystyn Kile, that's a totally different story and I wouldn't recommend that you stick with those names! LOL
Eh, they're definitely not my style, but like the others have said, there is nothing inherently wrong with any of the names- all legitimate, all spelled properly, etc. So no, I don't think you and your husband are crazy based on your name choices...I do however think you are crazy for telling your name choices to family members at 10 weeks pregnant ;-) A word to the wise- if they don't know your choices, they can't criticize them!
Neither are names that I would pick, but it's your baby.
Tell your family you're unsure of the name, and you'll let them know the baby's name when the baby is born. We've done that twice and I MUCH prefer it that way. Nobody dogs on the name once it has a baby attached to it.

I really like Tatum a lot (it is on our list of maybe's right now) and Tristan is nice too. Your family will come around once the little one is here! GL and stick to your guns!
I also think they are nms, but I think they are nice names. I also have family members who turn their noses up when we talk about our names. Personally, I just don't care. I'm choosing names that I like, not my mom!

Ah, I see. Secrets are my specialty...no one in my family even knows I'm pregnant yet ;-) Just be prepared to shrug off their opinions then, it's your baby and you can't please everyone
I like Tatum and Savannah. I don't care for Tristan Kyle, though. We purposely didn't tell our families ideas we were thinking of for names because I didn't want someone ruining it for us. No matter how perfect the name is to you, there will always be someone who doesn't like it.

They're NMS, but the only thing that matters is that you like them. Your family gets no say in what you name your baby. They get to name their own children.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5
I'd have to say that I like your middle names much better than the first names.
That being said, don't worry too much about what your family thinks. As soon as new baby gets here and is named, they will accept it.
I shared a few names on our list this past weekend with the family and my mom doesn't like our #1 name (Henry). At first it hurt my feelings, but then I realized that they will not even care what the baby's name is once he's here. Hope that makes sense!
I hate to be rude, but I really don't get this Tatum thing. I have met two little girls named Tatum in the past few months, but to me, Tatum is a drug-addicted actress and sounds like Tater. Sorry, just being honest!
I like Tristan Kyle ok, though...

Sorry, I don't like any of your names.
But if you love those names, and your husband loves those names, then you should stick with those names.

I think
Savannah Tatum
Kyle Tristan
sounds better!
They're different but not at all bad.
Good Luck!
I'm not crazy about Tatum, but I do like Savannah.
I love your boy name!!
I wouldn't worry about the family opinion. They are going to love that baby no matter the name....they will get used to it.

Not to your face, at least...(my mom has a tendency to complain about what cousins name their kids to me, but not to the kids' parents or grandparents)
tatum savannah - i don't like tatum, at all. makes me think of tater, or totem pole...just NMS. savannah, however, i adore.
tristan kyle - not a fan of the name tristan, whatsoever, and kyle is okay...but i would prefer kye.
