I'm just curious what Santa pictures cost where you are. At the mall closest to me, the cheapest package is $18 plus tax!! And that's just one 5x7. It's insane! There may be cheaper ones in other malls, but I haven't looked into it. So how much does it cost you to get LOs picture taken on Santa's knee?

I love these two beautiful children!
That's great. Ours is very anti-camera. They even built Santa's Village so you can't actually see Santa, or your child sitting with Santa from outside the village or from the upper level of the mall. It's bonkers. But at least just saying hi to Santa is still free...
Last year our mall just started emailing everyone their picture for free and it's up to you to print it off. It's great financially, but I still haven't printed out last year's pic yet so there is a downside!
We went to a free Santa last weekend...I was allowed to take pictures (in siggy) and they even printed some that I just picked up and they are adorable!
We are going to see Santa again this weekend at the Edina Realty Christmas party. They print off a picture for you but its not high quality but again I am allowed to take pictures.
the santa we go to is about $25 for the cheapest package.... they let us take our own pics if we buy a package - so i'm OK with that. They bust their butts, deal with annoying kids/parents all day long- i'm happy to pay that much and hope that they are compensated well.
this is about average for this area (NYC suburb in NJ)
Last year it was about $20 to get the cheapest package. Instead, I decided to purchase the USB for about $25 and print my own pictures. We actually ended up using that picture on our Christmas card so it was worth it. My DH took my older DS to Bass Pro Shop this year to get some stuff and he ended up getting a free picture with Santa there and like pp said, you can go online and order more if you want.
same at the mall we go to...$25 gets you a 5x7 and 4 wallets. The Santa is a great one though so I feel it's well worth the money!
