Name/age: Shana/39 years old (although this process has aged me, so maybe closer to 63?)
Role in Adoption: Hoping to be an adoptive mother some day, but that day is taking it's sweet-a@@ time.
Favorite Foods: Sushi is my favorite, but I can rarely afford it. Seafood, dark greens, chocolate, pasta. Really, anything. Love food.
Favorite Holiday Traditions: Right now, avoidance, but hoping that will change soon.
Where you call home: Currently Gray, Maine is home. At this time of year, I wish I could say it was Hawaii.

Favorite Holiday Traditions: Baking day with two girlfriends, nice dinner out with my parents, brother and his wife before Christmas, usually cutting down our tree and decorating it, but this year that was tough because we had imagined the baby we had for a short while being with us!

Role in Adoption: We were placed with a newborn from the hospital in 2007. Finalized in 2008. Ben is 3 1/2 now.
