and for those of you who think I am calling you a bad mother for whatever reason. get the eff over it. You know it doesnt bother you, you want some drama.

The girl said she was SCARED about being pregnant at her current weight.

My advice...lose the weight if you can. plain and simple.

If she would have said I am over 200lbs and am pregnant. I would have said congrats like I do with every other pregnant woman on here.

To those of you who are overweight and healthy..GREAT! You can be healthy and be overweight. I applaud you for being active and staying fit.

No mater what I say I will continue to be called a judgemental biitch, so it's pointless.

Your comments in this post suggest you are a person who hasn't struggled with weight and being pregnant and obese. If you have in fact struggled, as you say, then your comments just show how judgemental and tactless you are.

Implying something can mean the same as outright saying it. And it absolutely bothers me that you feel you are so high above the rest of us as to be allowed to imply our lack of parenting ability based on weight, of all things.

And Sarahtx###, I am fat, and willing to bet I am healthier than most people, even with insulin dependant diabetes. I was also one of the healthiest patients at my high risk OB, which was because of diabetes, not my weight. I lost weigh during pregnancy, which is actually not uncommon for those who are overweight. I had a very quick recovery from my c section, I was cleaning my house the day I came home, which was only 3 days from delivery, although my OB and insurance company expected me to stay for 5-6, due to diabetes

You don't know enough about being overweight while pregnant to comment. Admitting it might be a good idea.You could have said, getting healthy is always a good idea before getting pregnant. Because healthy is an issue completely separate from the number on the scale.

I'm not overweight, but I bet a lot of the "overweight" women on this board are a lot more healthy than me. I hate to exercise, won't go to the gym, and hate running. The only exercise I enjoy at all is swimming but I don't like to swim in public pools and don't currently have one of my own, so I don't. I eat junk all the time, and have had to really try to do better during pregnancy because if left to my own devices I would eat hot pockets and pizza rolls all day long. The only reason I cook is for my husband.

I'm the perfect example of how weight doesn't have that much to do with health IMO.
