Embarrassingly, my family calls them "Nookies." The brand name is Nuk, which is where it came from, I'm sure, but Limp Biscuit sort of stole the innocence of our paci nickname.
Bahahahaha!
In New Zealand we call them dummies. I have no idea why though.
Okay mine is "gross" b/c it sounds like Pap Smear, but we call it a Pap-pap or just a pap. It started with DD1 (I don't even know how though) and we just continued calling it that with DD2. So weird, no clue where it came from!
We call it a paci or pappy. My nephew called it a "ginky" for a while since he couldn't say "Binky" so sometimes that comes out. I guess we'll see what DD calls it when she gets older and then we'll stick to one or the other.

We call it a paci. Sometimes I call it "the plug" for the toddler. For a little while she had a hard time saying paci so she called it fuzzy. But overall it's just the paci in our house.
We call it a bops. When my oldest nephew was around 1, he called it bops because of the sound the pacifier made when he took it out of his mouth. The word has stuck with all the other kids in my family and now I use it too.
