Just curious what everyone else calls their LO's pacifiers. I just call it a "paci," but I also hear "binky" quite frequently and I have a friend that calls it a "Wah stopper."

Embarrassingly, my family calls them "Nookies." The brand name is Nuk, which is where it came from, I'm sure, but Limp Biscuit sort of stole the innocence of our paci nickname.

We usually say 'Where's Bob?' when we're looking for it. ?

Binks or binky. Has anyone seen that movie Orange County and the little boy on there calls it a pootie? I thought that was so funny!
* DD1 1.18.04 * DD2 1.22.06 * DS 10.2.07 * DD3 8.19.10 *
*Happiness keeps you sweet, trials keep you strong, sorrows keep you human, failures keep you humble, success keeps you glowing, but only God keeps you going.*
I was determined to call it a paci but DD1 has decided it is a bubby. No clue why, because she can say paci but I've given up and now they both have bubbys.

We call it "binky". Not sure where that term even came from.
My mom told me that a long time ago, the most common brand of pacifier was Binky, so I'm guessing that's where it comes from? I know Playtex still has a paci called binky.

Okay, this is horrible, but my ex's family were big on smoking weed. They called it bob and when they wanted to smoke, but didn't want to publicize what they were smoking they'd ask if anyone was bringing Bob to the party.

We're Russian so we call it "soska" which literally means "nipple", haha ...unfortunately he refuses to take it. I've tried the MAM and the Soothie. Next step is the NUK because he seems to enjoy the NUK bottle.

My son couldn't say binkie...he said nee nee - so hence we still call it a nee nee
Sawyer Quinn (09/06/06), Rory Keaton (04/07/08) and Kinsley Saffron (10/12/10). Forever and ever my babies they'll be. A rose can say "I love you",orchids can enthrall,but a weed bouquet in a chubby fist,yes, that says it all.~Author Unknown
Re: What do you call pacifiers?
Bink and Binky here.
She also has a wubbanub and I will call it wubby.
